We are so so lucky to have such a wonderful community driven farmers market. It brings people from all around town together like little town fair every week through the summer. Alright, SO...Went to the Ledyard Farmer's Market, to retrieve some Fresh Corn, 'round about last August timeframe...I arrive, to see a whole BUNCH of vehicles parked alongside the Market Place. This place was BUSY! I immediately saw WHY...They have the absolute BEST selection, of Fresh Fruits & Veggies, grown by Local Farmers! Also, there is a line of Food Trucks, that carry some STUNNING Food choices! Lemme tell ya, I loaded up a bag of Corn, grabbed some Cucumbers (for Sammiches!), snagged a couple nice Tomatoes, and paid up...Only cost me a few dollars ($15, for a Dozen ears of corn, 4 Cukes, & 2 Tomatoes), and the experience was AWESOME! I will, without a doubt, be shopping for my Fresh Corn, at Ledyard Farmers' Market, this Season!

Expensive, $9.00 For 1 head of cabbage and a small bunch of 6 radishes, should have not bought at that price, won't buy from that stand again another vendor was much more reasonable.for the stuff they sold. Overall a good place.

This event is not wheelchair accessible. It is on a loose gravel. Just to warn anyone with handicapped family or friends. Other than that this event has a nice small fair atmosphere.

The every Wednesday Summer farmers market has been moved to the lower green from where it was last year. Utilizing the show pen area makes it under a solid roof and more organized.
