Excellent humane animal care. Very accommodating for dates and times. Pride in workmanship is very apparent in all stages of butchery. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Its taken me almost four months to write this review - been a busy farm season. This was the first time we used an abattoir for beef and can honestly say it was a learning curve for me delivering our two black angus. from booking to drop off Lesters was easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. If you need an immediate answer - call them - they have excellent staff but please keep in mind this is as mall operation and they don't have someone on the phone in an "office". Everyone is hands on here and we were blown away with the service at drop off. It was a hot day, we had been sitting in an accident for two hours and almost missed staffing hours...arrived late - we were welcomed and advised how and where to park, staff assisted with offloading and were more than happy to answer questions.
Upon ordering cuts we were able to easily communicate with Lesters regarding our cut sheet, preferences and had a great conversation with the shop about how we love to use our smoker and customized for this preference ( lots of fat cap on briskets, longer short ribs ect ect )
Highly, highly recommend Lesters!!!
