I booked LightMaster Studios for my engagement and wedding photos and I couldn't be anymore happier with that choice! From the initial conversation with Carrie, I knew I would love their work. Once I met Shawn for the engagement shoot and the rest of their team on the wedding day, it was nothing but laughter and fun. Their team is so pleasant and really know how to make you feel comfortable.

I tend to get real awkward in pictures and prefer to have candid photos where my true self comes out and Shawn and Antoinette really nailed it! The pictures show my husband and I's true self and the love we have for each other.

It also rained the whole day which was a big bummer for us because the whole reason we got married when and where we did was to capture the beautiful fall scenery. But this did not stop Shawn and his team to capture beautiful indoor pictures.

Truly, a great experience with them. If you're looking for a photographer, I highly recommend going to them! We loved them so much, my sister in law is getting her pictures done with them! And their team really are the greatest. The one photographer wrote in our guestbook with nice wishes for us. We absolutely loved them.

Shawn and Carrie did a fantastic job with our engagement photos and I can't wait to see how the wedding photos come out. Both of them were so wonderful and were able to explain the reasoning behind certain poses or angles when I was worried about looking silly. They were beyond patient and understanding and overall it was a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend choosing them as your photographer!

To anyone considering LightMaster Studios, just do it! The photographers went above and beyond to give us the most amazing pictures. One of them even laid in a puddle for an angle! I seriously cannot overstate how wonderful each person was to work with. Even the wedding guests commented afterwards how wonderful they were. Thank you all so so much for capturing our day ♡♡♡

We had an amazing experience with Lightmaster Studios! Leading up to our wedding, Carrie was so helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had, which made the planning process so much easier.

On the wedding day, Shawn was fantastic. I tend to feel nervous in front of the camera, but he made us feel comfortable and guided us through everything. When we got our photos back, we were thrilled! They captured our day beautifully, and there were so many great shots. Thank you, Lightmaster Studios, for such wonderful memories

Shawn and Carrie were amazing to work with! They went above and beyond our expectations and made our wedding planning and day a breeze! The pictures were absolutely amazing and they managed to capture so much of the day that as the bride and groom, we did not get to see it all.

We highly recommend LightMaster Studios. They were very professional, easy to work with, and super responsive. We had two photographers for our wedding, Shawn and Antonette, and they were both fantastic. Our wedding was in January and during a snowstorm, so we were a little worried they'd cancel but they went above and beyond! Shawn even shoveled a path for us so we could take pictures in the snow. They were also so much fun to have. Our guests loved them. At one point Shawn was taking pictures of the dancing but also directing them on how to do the cupid shuffle. Not only were they super nice and fun but the pictures are beautiful. We can't say enough good things about them!

Lightmaster Studios is most definitely the way to go when booking a photographer for your wedding. Shawn and Carrie made booking so easy and not to mention they were very attentive when answering emails and questions. Shawn takes the most amazing pictures and captures the most beautiful moments and helps guide you. Our wedding pictures came out absolutely phenomenal and I am speechless to say the least. Working with shawn is like working with a family friend with the professionalism of doing his work. I am so grateful to have found lightmaster studios to capture the most important day of my life! I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this was so upsetting. I’m honestly not sure what happened, but our photos look NOTHING like the pictures Shawn and Carrie have on the Knot. We feel like we were totally ripped off and scammed by LightMaster Studios.

Our package included light editing, which can be seen in maybe 5-10 pictures. Most of our photos look like they were taken with an iPhone and they didn’t edit out their own gear seen in photos. Despite sending a list of pictures we wanted, we had to remind Shawn what needed done multiple times (family pictures weren’t started until he was about to leave for the night). He was seen outside playing with their drone while pictures could have been taken (girls getting ready), and we don’t even have the pictures/video he took.

We were told 4-6 weeks to receive pictures, so at around 3 weeks I asked for 1 preview picture and was told no. We waited almost 7 weeks for our pictures, which I don’t understand, because there was hardly anything done to them.

The only reason this review isn’t one star is because the communication was good and they were both friendly. They offered 20% of our money back, or to touch up 25/800 of the pictures (which should have already been done).

This was a once in a lifetime event that we can’t redo, please don’t make the mistake we did.

I had the pleasure of working with Shawn and Carrie of Light Master Studios for our May 28th wedding at Brigalias. Carrie was great with communication from the very beginning. She took the time to speak with me and answer all my questions - even when the questions came after we spoke on the phone via a quick email. They stayed in constant contact with us. We connected and she answered all of my questions in regards to photos, timelines, etc. She was always very quick to respond - which always makes a bride have a little less anxiety. They were very flexible and accommodating to meet our needs with many packages to choose from. On the day of, he knew exactly what pictures to take and gave us very clear directions and our wedding pictures turned out amazing!!! Shawn did a great job capturing all the photos I did want, along with the photos I didn’t even know I wanted. I hardly noticed him the day of, but looking back on the photos - he caught so many memories that we have been looking at over and over re-living our special day. Everything arrived on time as promised! The wedding album was Breathtaking!! I love that the pictures told our wedding story and am extremely happy with everything. Our package,also, include a copy of digital negatives to download on own. The pictures aren't watermarked with their company logo and the quality of the photos are phenomenal. Selecting this dynamic duo to be our photographers was a no brainer. Highly recommended!!!
