The grounds are breathtaking. The staff is simply so kind, loving and welcoming.

There is so much to take in. So many areas of prayer and reflection.

Lourdes in Litchfield is a wonderful place to attend Holy Hour Mass walk through the 15 stations to pray and have a moment of gratitude. There is a shop and a restaurant where you can buy soups, salads, a sandwich, a drink. Additionally, you can bring a quilt so you can sit with family or friends. In conclusion, it is a perfect magical place where the Virgin of Lourdes is located, bring change to leave offerings or if you like to light a candle, bring change, wear comfortable shoes, a sweater or clothing according to the weather. Admission is free and there is ample parking. I hope you enjoy your time visiting Our Lady of Lourdes in Litchfield.

First time I visit this shrine and let me tell you it is a beautiful experience. The mass is outdoors. After mass I did the 12 stations is a little bit on a hill but not impossible to do. After that my husband and I decided to walk the ground and it's just so peaceful that you feel so relax. They also have a gift shop and a café many seats that you can sit inside or outdoors. I did not try the food maybe next time. It's door friendly and lots of parking spots.

The natural beauty of the grotto compliments the sacrosanct presentation of the altar and the statues of Jesus. We did not get to do the stations of the cross through the nature walk. But it's worth visiting and spending some time in prayer and worship.

2023 Visited for the 2nd time. Lots of free parking. Bathrooms are available. You can walk around, sit, pray, attend a service, reflect, and reconnect. This is a very peaceful venue to meditate and pray. The walk through the outdoor stations of the cross is nice too and easy to walk for all ages.

A very blessed place in the beautiful town of Litchfield, CT. I have since moved away, but I still think of this Shrine. It’s important to note that there in the grotto is an actual stone from the grotto in Lourdes, France. I would recommend visiting here to anyone passing by. A great place to pray in the peacefulness of nature.

Wow 🤩 what a pretty place. Hiding gem 💎. You can walk around and feel the peacefulness in this place. Im not a religious person. Im open to all the religions and I love to walk around in places that bring me so much peace.

I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor church service set on the hillside. The cafeteria has great food too snd prices were very good. The walk to see the stations of the cross is a wonderful meditation in peaceful setting. Healed me ! I slept so well after this as was able to heal my body and soul by drinking the holy water. Quaint gift shop on site also.
