Stopped for gas and a snack, ended up getting THE best carry out food EVER! I wish this place wasn't over 2 hours away but I loved it enough to drive the 2 hours next time I want southern cooking! And the cobbler was sooooo good!!

I stopped here for years when I lived in M'sippy, this place used to have a real comfortable feel. It's been about 5 years since my last trip down here and boy has it changed. So a nice quiet place to stop and do a ten or eight. The evening food was great... But the people that work and run this place have changed. B. I love bigotry. This little gem in the South Central rural Alabama area is full of it. Double standards run amuck. It is so nice to see that the chickens have come home to roost and the tables are turned on "clear people"(her words but mine).
Prices are ridiculous. $4.05 for one breakfast sandwich on a hamburger bun. The egg was cold and the bun was hard and dry. Now she didn't just reach in and grab one of the many sandwiches stacked in there, she poked most of them with her finger in what I would like to think was an attempt to find the fresher ones. LoL, yeah right. They all changed from laughing and talking to side eye talking low and ignoring me standing right there to order. Took forever. They didn't treat all the customers that way just a few "clear" ones. I'm still stopping in here. If for nothing more than to annoy them young kids that feel like they don't have to work once they arrive at work.

They have on Site, some of the old times ways of John Deere farming equipment used for cotton farming, hay gathering, plowing, and cultivating that I have never seen before.
They keep it clean and Painted to help Preserve them.
The Property is Well Manicured Always. We always stop here for a break to stretch our legs, use the restroom, and purchase a snack, Drinks, on our way through to Philadelphia Mississippi.
We enjoy taking the back roads to see the scenery and farmlands along the way.
Stop in at M&M, they are always very Courteous and make us feel welcome, and urge us to return. This is Country Folks and living at its Finest!!!
