We had Matt from MacVane come out to the house to replace a ceiling fan, check the wiring in the switch and add a new outlet. He completed everything we had planned, and my wife and I could not have been more pleased with his work. I recently had MacVane Electrical Services upgrade my home's Eversource Meter Pan box and a 200 AMP circuit breaker. From my very first conversation with Phil, the owner, they were excellent to work with. They came promptly to my home and gave me an estimate, coordinated with Eversource to perform the work, got the necessary permits and completed the installation with 2 very skilled employees! The work was completed as scheduled and I am extremely satisfied with their performance. I will most assuredly use them in the future and I'd recommend you give them a call with any electrical service you might require.

The electrician arrived at the scheduled time and was prepared to fix the electrical problem which had developed. He explained what needed to be done and did the repair in a neat snd professional manner. His efforts appear to have corrected the problem.

Great service! I contacted them through Yelp and got a response within 24 hours. Got a call from Phil and explained my needs. He got me on the schedule for the following week as it wasn't a life and death emergency, definitely reasonable turnaround time. Had a funny glitch with their email notification system where it said tech coming Tues, then Thurs, then Wed, but reached out to Phil and he was quick to confirm the correct date and apologized for the system glitch.
Day of the visit the tech was early, personable and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue quickly and took care of it efficiently. Cleaned up what little mess was made and offered to help move furniture (I declined but that was very kind).
Overall a great experience and would definitely use again! Cost of service was reasonable! Very pleased.
