I’ve been having my hair done by Shelley for many years and when she went to Madison Ave I was thrilled. I always heard great things about them. I can say for a fact everything I heard was truth. So happy to have my hair done in a warm welcoming atmosphere by an amazing hair stylist!! Best of both worlds…..

I have been going to Shayna for a little under five years now, she has always been so kind, caring, and always tried her hardest to get me the result of hair I wanted while also keeping the integrity of my hair intact.

I also get waxed by Courtney, she is amazing and very talented at her job, she also gives amazing facials.

If you have thick or curly hair I know it is hard to find a hairdresser that can be gentle, but effective with your hair and I hands down recommend Shayna in Madison Avenue. Everytime she will make you leave feeling gorgeous!

The other stylists, estheticians and receptionists are all super lovely too and they do amazing work as well!

I had not had my hair cut or colored in over 3 years and I was unhappy with all the silver and grey. Mark did my hair and chose a highlight color perfectly. The cut and style he did was really nice but not quite what I asked for. He took more hair than I was comfortable with but the cut and style still complimented my face and my guy was really happy with it too.
My only complaint was the price. They quoted me over the phone a price of $120.
When I went to pay, it JUMPED to about 218 with the explanation that they had to use additional Highlighter..... $100 MORE! It was a great experience up to that point.... less than happy about the price gouging. Not positive I will go back unless I get an exact price quote.
So go if you want a great color and cut, just make sure they give you the CORRECT COST!

Madison Avenue is by far the best hidden secret on the Shore. Both locations are amazing at making customers feel at ease! The salon offers high end products at every price point. The owner and staff take pride in delivering professionalism, and extending kindness. I can't imagine going to another salon and over the years, I have grown to absolutely love them and I always look forward to my appointments. I highly encourage anyone who is looking for a hairstyle or a refresh to visit and bask in their services.
