The Camson townhomes are very nice, inside & out. The rent seems high to me, but I guess it's reasonable for rent in Lawrence. However, the property management company could not be more rude. When you move out, it doesn't matter how well you clean the place...you WILL NOT get your full security deposit returned to you. We were excellent tenants - paid our rent on time & in full every month. Never filed a complaint or had a complaint filed against us. When we moved out, we spent three full weeks cleaning the place top to bottom. During the final walk-through, they pointed out 2 or 3 minor things that they would probably charge us for (dust on one side of the blinds in the master bedroom, a small spot on the carpet in the living room, soap scum in the shower that we couldn't get off because they expressly forbid abrasive cleaners). When I finally got my deposit back, they had deducted over $300 in cleaning expenses, including $137 for carpet cleaning for "heavily stained & soiled carpet" and $80 to "replace 2 blinds that would not come clean." Come on, we weren't re-enacting scenes from Dexter in this house. We don't even have kids or pets. If you never want to see your security deposit again, then sure, go ahead and live here. But if you don't like being taken advantage of by shady business people, then I suggest looking elsewhere.

Best home builder in Lawrence . Fine detail management, careful in every way.
