Had the pleasure of attending the amazing Powwow to honor Veterans. The Museum is incredible, the vendors offered a wide array of beautiful products, but the dancing & drumming was the highlight and just so incredibly beautiful!

We stopped here on our way home from Massachusetts. What a hidden gem near the Foxwoods Casino. It may be better suited for kids 5 and up. They will enjoy the exhibits.

A fantastic musuem regarding the history of the pequot tribe. Really informative and interesting. It even managed to hold my toddlers attention for a couple hours. Certainly worth a visit if you wish to learn about native American history. Fantastic displays, especially the hunting scene and the native American village you can walk through. And the staff were also lovely as well.

This museum should be a required visit for all high school children, particularly those in Southern New England. Excellent and balanced discussion of the history, traditions, and cultural aspects of the Pequot Tribe. The Pequot War is an event that never should have occured. As someone who descends from the original English settlers in New England, it was a very sobering experience to visit.

They put a lot of money into this museum and it shows. There weren’t many people here though. It was almost empty except for me and a 4th grade field trip. I enjoyed my visit and recommend the movie about the Pequot War. Interesting history. The tower had a nice view also.

Very informative and enjoyable. Not everyone is a diorama lover but I'm very fond of them. Much of the museum consists of dioramas featuring standard life scenarios: hunting, living, ... The smaller cases have interesting objects and replicas. Perhaps it's my age but I found the print too small for comfort and it was quite a bit of reading.
Overall, it was a good outing to be recommended.

Easily one of the most interesting, engaging museums I've been to in a long time. The star of the show is the lifelike sculptures and dioramas, making you feel like you are truly walking through a moment in Pequot history. There is also a fascinating short film that can be watched near the end about the Pequot War, so I recommend aiming to make one of the showings! (The movie seems to play at 11:00AM, 1:00PM, and 3:00PM. I made the last showing.) Overall, you can easily spend hours exploring what this museum has to offer, and I recommend that you do!

Last week we visited this museum. I was amazed at the detail that was put into this museum. The village recreation was just exceptional to show the life of an Indian during this period of time. The videos and the movie were also well done and informative. I want to recommend that anyone in the area stop in and visit this museum it is well worth the stop. We spent close to 4 hours in the museum and rushed through some areas. We also enjoyed the tower to see area around the museum. Great Job to the Pequot tribe for developing such a wonderful museum that honors and shows their heritage.
