John helped me today with fast and experienced knowledge. I brought in a power amp for some passive speakers I have at home. I've only ever used plug and play active speakers and told john I didn't know exactly what I needed to power the Amplifier to my speakers. He was very detailed in his explanation! John went above my initial question and explained how to bridge the power between 2 channel's or not. When I got home I only had cables to power a single speaker at a time. All the help was very appreciated and I will definitely be back when the time comes to buy active speakers

Generally got a good vibe from this store but the sore thumb was one employee. Had a very unpleasant couldn’t be bothered to be helpful attitude. Probably won’t be back here

Got my first guitar here. Never played but somehow was able to play two keys by the time I left and actually make a tune. The guitar is beautiful, and it so far has not been damaged at all. The service was nice and it was just under 200$ for both the Bag and the guitar.

John, Hank and the other guy that I forgot to write down his name have been wonderful. John fixed my fender bassman 1970s amp for $70. Other repair shops would have charged a lot more.

Also, I did some consignments and John was super generous with his time and making the sales for the ads both in commission rates and working with me when I decided not to sell certain items.

They also generously support the local band programs and work hard to make sure kids have instruments.

We needed a sound system for our wedding and Matanuska Music really pulled through for us. The rental was exactly what we needed at a very affordable price. We had it for the whole weekend and had wireless and wired mics as well. When I had questions while setting up (user error), I was able to call and they patiently helped fix my error right away. The process for renting, picking up, setting up, dropping off all went very smoothly. No issues with feedback or connectivity with the equipment. I couldn’t be happier with with everything, including the customer service!

Hank Hartman's instrumental repairs on my clarinets and saxophones are executed as labors of love. The craftsmanship is on the level of artistic skill unsurpassed anywhere in the country. His cosmetic repairs are beautiful. The Valley is so lucky to have Hank living and working here! I have made my living with music over 50 years all over the United States.

I bought a guitar and amp for around $250. You can't even get used ones around here for that. Both are perfect for me just to play at home. The person working there was very helpful.
