Unfortunate. We have used Mayes multiple times and every time the cut sheet has been totally ignored. We requested Ribeyes but got KCs. Steaks are cut inconsistently. See photo of 3.5” cut instead of the 2” requested. Fillet with silver skin left on it. Also multiple bags that never had a seal or seal wasn’t done correctly. Won’t be using them anymore.

Great experience. The staff and owner were well educated and answered all my questions. They processed a cow for me and they also process many other animals. Ended up picking up a hog also. If you haven’t tried them you should check them out. I’ll be back for sure.

We use Mayes County for our own personal beef and pork. They provide awesome service and unbelievable value. They take the as much time as I need time to cover custom butchering order form. Pork steaks in photo were amazing.

I will never use again, they didn’t cut our meat up right, steaks look like they’re cut with a jagged knife, all different widths, I asked for 3/4 , some of them are 1/2 some start out 3/4 and taper down to 1/4 on the same piece of steak. didn’t get my beef fat and when I called and left a message, no call back. Also, they had a mess up with the labels and all my meat has someone else’s name on it.

Dropped off wild hog to be processed before Thanksgiving. First off, they don't contact us until January about something that should have taken 2 weeks. Then when arrived to pick up hog all they gave me was 40 1lb packages of sausage!?! It wasn't even wild hog it was domestic hog they already had priced to sell there. Said my hog was to lean and they just ground it all up. Well, we ordered hot links, sliced cured ham steaks, sausage, bacon, loin cutlets. Hog being too lean only effects my sausage and bacon. They finally gave me huge domestic hog ham and stood by my hog was too lean so they ground it all. I didn't want domestic hog at the time. I wanted wild hog since it was a small female little over 125lbs. Even though they have a good tasting sausage IDK if I would ever take anything back there. Paid way too much for something I didn't order and what are they going to give me next time!?! Probably something I didn't order. They never even picked up the phone and asked me what I wanted to do about a lean hog. I would have been great if my loin, ham and hot links were with a lean hog.!!!

Fantastic quality local meat and customer service at very fair prices. Best beef i have ever cooked. They sell individual steaks and prime ribs so pull right in and buy some! You will be happy you did. They will also process your deer.

I had a wild hog processed I wanted hot links,pork loin, bacon, and a smoked ham what I got was sausage, and what I got in return was a domestic hog. Whenever I got upset they gave me a domestic ham not my hog at all. The positive out of this deal is his sausage is the best I've eaten I could believe it is that good

I just dropped in for some steaks for grilling.Fantastic quality and consistency of meat. The employees are friendly and well mannered. They even had bones for my dogs! Thank you guys for feeding us so well!
