The chances are if you have ever seen a McDonalds commercial or one used in a film, it was likely filmed at this production location in California, made to look like a real one for interior and exterior shots.

It’s on a public street in an industrial area, and not in a location that gets much street traffic so you wouldn't even know it's there unless you were by it as even the iconic McDonald's sign that is normally elevated so people can see them from far away is concealed much lower here on wheels so it can be moved around easily depending on where the camera is placed. The black fence that surrounds it can be taken down just as easy for any exterior shots that are needed as well.

Through research on McDonalds Youtube and a couple latest commercials they had posted, it can be matched this location based off buildings, trees, landmarks.

This was the same McDonalds (now remodeled) used in the infamous 1980s movie Mac and Me (1988)

It’s not e real restaurant, they use this for advertising, so idk why ppl are leaving actual store reviews, like getting their food order wrong, or the ice cream machine being down 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂

i went here and oh my man oh man were the big macs to die for. the ice cream machine WAS working and they gave my an oreo mcflurry with extra oreo for free.
