This bike shop has the most amazing staff!! I had the pleasure to meet Jamie and Brent this weekend. My son had a bike race at McDowell mountain this weekend. My son mentioned to me that his head tube was loose right before we were leaving to the pre ride. I tried to tighten it with no luck. I said we have to get to a bike shop. We made it to McDowell mountain cycles and were strapped for time, and we were stressed. Jamie and Brent calmed us down in seconds and were eager to help. Brent diagnosed the problem fast. I accidentally screwed the swat tool together wrong some how. He worked diligently to work it out and get it put back together correctly.
They were two of the kindest people. I'm a business owner myself, and would be extremely proud to have a staff be so professional and kind as they were. I mentioned MMC at the team dinner and another parent mentioned they had the same experience with Jamie the weekend prior when their daughter went into the store because she had forgotten her riding shorts. Jamie was so kind and even offered the shower facility to both of us.

What an amazing group of folks!!! I was attending a work event in town and called ahead about rented one of their Specialized Stumpjumpers. I wasn't going to make it to the shop before they closed for the evening given the arrival time of my flight and the travel time from PHX to the shop. They were very accommodating waiting there an extra half hour after closing so that I could get the bike fitted that evening and join them for their Tuesday Night Ride. The 24 hour rental period also allowed me the opportunity to get a dawn patrol ride in the next morning before returning the rental. Talk about some amazing views!!!

Having such a great experience with them for that rental, there wasn't a second guess in my mind about renting from them again. And I did 2 days later before heading home.

Fantastic! I cannot recommend them enough! The bikes were fantastic as well but the courtesy, concern, hospitality and more were above and beyond! As new people to AZ mountain biking we had no idea what we were getting into nor any way to get there. Thank you Jaime for hauling us! And for all the tips along the way… and especially the water recommendations! If you are in the area, McDowell is a MUST if you want to rent bikes or have bike needs! We will be back!

Well I had my bike serviced here last year, and my bike has been in storage since. Went out on a ride a few weeks ago finally and ran into some major issues on the trail. My free hub body was not serviced by these guys correctly when they installed a new cassette. I took my bike into another shop and they pointed out missing grease and improperly installed cassette. Which is now costing me a new wheel at $330. I paid Well over $500 for these guys to go through my bike. And they didn't service it correctly. Super disappointed.

Jaime and the crew are truly incredible! Have rented multiple bikes here when traveling from out of town and they are always dialed in perfectly. They go far out of their way to make sure all your riding needs are met. Friendly, courteous, and professional. Everything you’d want from a local bike shop. Definitely plan on buying my next bike from them!

I am on vacation for mountain biking and damaged one pedal. MMC had a replacement in stock for a competitive price. While being in the store I also wanted a cassette thinking that this would fix a chain skipping issue. Joe the mechanic was able to analyze the problem, fixed the chain skipping issue and this did not even require a new cassette. Excellent service, competent and friendly staff. Being in the store while Joe fixed my bike I also got a good impression about the thoroughness and attention to detail of the other mechanics. The pricing for the work was reasonable and I will definitely come back next time. I can only highly recommend this shop.

They are so helpful and cheerful with every visit and explain everything our visitors need to know about the bikes they rent.
