Tony and team helped us design and create a new front yard. We had tons of questions and no experience with such a project... Tony was very informative and helpful during the whole process. He helped us design a concrete wall, steps, walkway, fence, and many other elements (all while considering our goal of a mid century modern aesthetic). He visited with us in person before, during, and after the project which was a nice personal touch and helped align on details. We are planning to work with him again in 2025!

From Day 1, Tony quickly envisioned how we could transform what was unusable space to very tranquil and spacious living area. The entire team was incredibly courteous and communicative.
Tony worked with us on our concerns, the budget, and welcomed our family to the rockyard and plant wholesale which was really helpful to feeling comfortable with the design. Nothing ever felt forced or past a point where we couldn't shift when we had new ideas. Really well thought out lighting, hardscape, soft scape, and irrigation executed perfectly. It was truly a pleasure working with them, and I'd certainly hire again or recommend them to anyone.

We are slowly relandscaping our front and backyard. We are doing this in several phases.
Last year, we worked with Tony on our side yard where we leveled the side, installed pavers and turf. The project came out great, so we called Tony back to redo our front yard.
It was an extensive project, where Rosendo and his team releveled everything, put in a walkway, new porch, irrigation, lighting, turf, etc.
They followed our plans, and listened to our direction. The front looks great...and will finish the planting in the fall.
So we will be looking forward to phase 3 and 4 with Tony, Rosendo, and the rest of the team.

We could have not asked for a better partner for our backyard renovation. Working with Tony was like gaining a best friend, but also a personal assistant, contractor, project manager and designer all in one! He helped us figure out how to tackle this monster of a project and how to do within our budget. His crews are THE BEST and perform all their task in an impeccable manner.

This is the first time we take on such a big project and having someone that held our hand throughout the whole process (design to build as well as future planning) was everything we could have asked for. He was so responsive, consistently stopping by during construction, always making sure things were going as planned, as well as helping us make the right decisions when we needed to pivot.

I would highly recommend this design-oriented team to help you achieve the yard of your dreams. You will not be disappointed! Hardscape, rock, turf, wood retaining wall, fencing, gate, and pergola install was our first project.

We are now close to breaking ground on the front yard after working with the design team for a couple of weeks. We can't wait to see this project completed!

Summary: I hired Mindful Construction for a front yard renovation in January of 2024. I was happy with the end result and I would recommend them for similar projects.

Details: At the start of my project, my goal was to gather multiple quotes with a variety of ideas for the front yard. I ended up getting 5 quotes and spoke to Tony at Mindful Constrcution multiple times throughout the process. I ended up choosing them because they provided ideas/options, worked within my budget, and communicated well, which gave me confidence they could complete the job as agreed upon. The contractors were friendly and worked hard to complete the job while Tony checked in throughout the project and followed upon completion to ensure the job was done and I was happy with the results.
