GREAT COMPANY! We had these guys connect the small building to my main house by adding a subpanel. They also dug the trench. They also did the lights and breaker box. They did everything to get us power as promised. Fair pricing. Great communication. Man of his word. This company will do big things in Tucson. I’m actively using them now on more jobs. We do general contracting for our business and let me tell you, this company is a keeper. I hope to have a long healthy work relationship with them. ?

I hired Modern Electric to install 2 Tesla Wall Connector chargers in my garage. I was able to email the owner, Shandon, high res. photos to get an estimate without needing an on site visit. The price of the estimate was very competitive and I should know since I contacted over a dozen companies to get estimates for this job. Many electricians are not familiar with install EV chargers. Shandon, the owner, came with his two other electrician employees to complete the job. They arrived promptly and did very professional work. Once the work was completed, I received the bill and it was significant LESS than the original estimate. The owner explained that they were able to get the job done in less time than expected and passed the savings on to me. Finally, the owner used a leaf blower to clean out my garage after finishing - WOW!!! After they left, I followed the charging instructions on my phone to complete the commissioning step. Hiring Shandon at Modern Electric has been one of the best experiences I have ever had in working with a contractor, and I have worked with many. I give Modern Electric my strongest recommendation and will hire them again if I ever need any future electrical work.

If you are searching the web looking for an electrician, stop here. We hired Shandon at Modern Electric to do the electrical work on our new 30x40 steel building. He and his team (Anthony) did an outstanding job, from start to finish. When they started Shandon asked me how I would like it to be done, I simply said , if this was your shop what would you do. He took that and ran with it!! We could not be more pleased with everything that was done, from the custom bent conduit, LED lighting, running the power from the house and list goes on. I feel not only did we get the best electricians in town, I also got some good friends as well. Use Modern Electric …you’ll be so happy you did.

I was recommended Modern Electric by my co-worker who was having an electric vehicle charger installed. Shandon was amazing and stopped by on a Sunday to scope out the project details and get a feel for what would be required for the install of my EV charger. His two colleagues arrived on install day right on schedule and it only took an hour! Anthony and Kaleb were awesome, professional, and knowledgeable with any questions I had. Modern Electric recently installed my residential EV charger (hardwired) in my garage. The communication was prompt and to the point and there was no attempt to upsell. When Shandon came out to install it, he was efficient and effective, completing the job in less than an hour and left no mess. Very professional all around and was the lowest bid. Shandon and his team helped out with an EV charger install and I had gotten a quote from a number of other companies and his was the most reasonable. When he came out to give me a quote, he was a straight shooter, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. His team did a nice job and I would use him again for other home electrical projects in the future.
