Their houses being built in Prairie Village I have major concerns about with the exterior build quality. Next time you drive by one take notice of the siding that they've decided on for these $1M+ new builds vs. other builders new construction. They're using what many call "Woodsman" or T-111 siding which is quite literally compressed wood fibers and although it's gained popularity with builders in the suburbs over the years it's known as something used to side barns or sheds with in much of the country. As someone who's been part of the tear down and rebuild world in PV for the past 20 years I can tell you that I've personally had to replace many panels of this on homes primarily in Olathe or Overland Park where it starts to bubble and rot from the edges, usually the bottom side and also causing damage to the framing behind them. All I see is a builder taking advantage of an uneducated homebuyer and for the sales price of these homes it's a disgrace to not only these homebuyers but to the community. 1M+ homes deserve appropriate siding. Cedar shake (like much of the housing stock in Prairie Village) will literally last decades as would brick. At the very least they should be using hardibacker cement fiberboard or lap siding.

We recently moved into a house built by them in 2018. We are the second owners. I recently called them after an electrician noticed the bathroom ventilation fans weren’t installed correctly. They reached back out in a few days but informed me the cost to fix the fans would fall to us. I asked also about the cabinet fronts. All the drawer fronts in the entire house are bubbling as they appear to be cheap plywood. I asked if they had had this issue in other houses and were they guaranteeing the work or had they notified the manufacturer. I was told this issue should be expected if the homeowner allows the cabinet fronts to get wet. As cabinets are in kitchens and bathrooms I believe the expectation is that they would be built to withstand some dampness. The wood cabinet fronts they installed still look very nice but they cut corners with prefab plywood drawer fronts and the lack of quality really shows. I would expect cabinet fronts to look nice for more than a couple years. The paint on the walls is also of the lowest quality and even a light rub scuffs or chips the finish. The upstairs is impossible to walk through quietly. The floors squeak and groan throughout. The other issue is that there is one hvac control for a large house. It heats and cools very unevenly and in a house this size there really should have been two zones. Again, just little things that save a few dollars for the builder but really make a difference in comfort and quality. I think if you are expecting a high end home with great finishes I would make sure you are very vigilant during the building process. Understand that their basic building package will not withstand regular wear and tear.

As a trade (flooring) that works for Mojo, the quality of workmanship is some of the best in the industry. The bar for us trades is very high and I appreciate the attention to detail. Also, they have some of the best thought out floorplans that I've seen. Anyone who gets the chance to build and live in a Mojo house is so very lucky! Seeing their house complete on the artisan tour was inspiring!

They are building a house next door to us and while they say they’ll keep the property clean, they do not, the calls go unanswered. We have to reach out to the city due to the lack of care of our property by the builder. They city has to force them to clean up their mess.
