I had the pleasure of working with MC and the entire crew on a challenging project to repair our intricate juliette balacony on the front of our house. The project took several unexpected turns but everything was handled professionally until completed. The work was done exactly as stated in the proposal and Robert, Orlando and every sub on the project excelled in their roles. Justin from Montclair came out to visit my home and see my issue with water in my basement. After seeing the basement and side of my home, he recommended we perform the work of installing a French drain system in a couple of phases. This would allow me to split the project into affordable projects. The work was completed the crew cleaned up the worksite and showed me how to check and maintain the newly installed system.

After talking to several contractors and not feeling good about any of them, having only one conversation with Robert Jarratt sealed the deal. They did a really nice and professional job on a porch and front steps repair. Did just what I wanted. Very clean carpentry, and work properly done. Great crew doing the work, polite, communicative, left the job tidy. Not the cheapest, but much better work than what your brother-in-law can do...

We are very impressed with the work done to our foundation by Montclair Construction. After meeting with Robert to talk about our concerns, we were supplied with a full survey of our floor levels and engineer recommendations. Robert drafted up a proposal and worked with us on creating a plan we felt comfortable with moving forward.

Javier and his team did excellent quality work bringing the plans to fruition. Our house feels much more solid and sturdy now after building sister foundations along two cracked foundation walls, a drain swale under the house where water has been creating a small stream for decades and replacing two concrete footings under posts that were tilting due to the water drainage issue.

Doors that were not latching now close completely, the areas with growing cracks feel stabilized and I don't feel the same uneasy movements I was beginning to feel in the house. We live on a steep hillside in the Montclair Hills up from a canyon, so fixing these issues before they became a major problem is a huge relief.
