I've always processed my own venison and have very high standards for how the meat is cut, and packaged for freezer storage.

Last year, I decided to support a local business and try using Mountain Man Deer Processing. Rob did an amazing job. He asked all the right questions regarding the cuts I wanted along with some suggestions of his own. My venison was air sealed and labeled so well I could send a vegetarian to go grab a specific cut out of the freezer!

His ground meat will include either pork or beef fat depending on what he has in stock and he packs it "thin" so you can easily thaw it for cooking a quick meal. Rob is a very proficient bow hunter and his passion is very evident in his attention to detail. It feels like he treats your harvest as if it were his own. When I watched my doe drop 2 weeks ago, it was Rob I called first from my tree stand. An exceptional guy providing an exceptional service.

Harvested my first deer this season and Rob and his team couldn't have been anymore helpful and friendly. The deer was processed and ready to pick up the next day and I was shocked by how amazing the meat looked and how it was vacuum sealed and labeled. It looked like a gourmet butcher shop handled the cuts. The chop meat was packaged in 1 lb. bags and sealed flat to easily stack in my freezer (very thoughtful). They exceeded my expectations and I hope to become a very frequent customer of theirs.-THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!

Mountain Man Deer Processing is a great butcher and meat processor for Venison. Professional, efficient and quick to deliver; I was able to enjoy my latest harvest, 48 hours from the time the deer hit the ground, I was preparing the meat on the grill. If you Hunt and live in the Rockland area, I recommend using MMDP for all your meat processing needs!

Rob should be your go to guy for your deer processing needs. He went above and beyond to help me with my buck on a Saturday night when no other butcher answered their phones. I highly recommend you check these guys out. They work completely mobile out of the cleanest enclosed trailer you'll see. The meat comes back vacuum sealed, cleanly cut and labeled for your convenience. Can't recommend them enough, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again for the great job guys!

What an amazing operation. My son and I enjoyed watching Rob and Kevin do their work and learned a lot in the process. While we've been outdoorsmen/hunters for decades, seeing the butchering and packaging done instead of dropping off our harvest on a growing pile of dozens of animals and then, days later, picking up a box of hastily wrapped cuts was a new and valuable experience. The time and effort put into perfectly trimming and carefully vac packaging the meat puts Mountain Man far ahead of the competition. We'll be back and cant recommend them strongly enough.

I am so thankful I googled a deer processor close to Monroe, Orange County because the 1st choice was Mountain Man Deer Processing. WHAT A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE!! I cant find the words to explain what a great job. Clean, well done, vacuum packed and they came to the house and did it right there. They are going in my cell as my goto deer processor. I was truly amazed and am so happy with what they did. AWESOME simply awesome job and I hope to harvest another buck on the 19th!! I guarantee you wont be sorry.

Brilliant idea, amazing service! I used to drive an hour with my harvest to get it processed now I just call Rob he shows up in my driveway does it all right on the spot. I’m not only that but I know I’m getting my meat I don’t have to worry that It’s getting mixed in with others. And the finishing touch is the personality Rob is very friendly fun to talk to and he really knows what he’s doing when it comes to processing the meat!

Harvested my deer and had it processed at my house quickly (opposed to waiting a couple of months to pick it up from the butcher). Rob explained everything clearly as he labeled and vacuum sealed each cut. Great convenient way to fill the freezer.
