How do I leave a negative 5 star. Had a 460 built supposedly. 1.5hrs in and compression is well under 80psi and no cylinders are even close to within 10% motor was still full of gunk never cleaned the block or heads. Installed a piston upside down with all his "experience" he couldn't even see that . If i had brought the motor back to him he would have lied about what went wrong 100%.TOTAL HACK. DO NOT GO HERE EVER

Brought a 7.3 powerstroke block to be machined and Bobby did a beautiful job. The block and deck is beautiful and he installed new cam bearings and had to cut a sleeve in because bore was cracked. Cant even tell there is a sleeve. Everything looks perfect! Thank you Bobby.

I am more than satisfied with Bobby's work. I brought him a set of windsor heads that needed decked and new seats and none the less I am very happy with the work that was done. Bobby also took the time to show me how to do a few things that I wanted to learn how to do! Highly recommended! Will be bringing all my work to him from now on

When we found out my heads were "no good" I was told he'd sell me a "same as" set and install my valve springs on them. The heads I got had smaller valves and cost more than new ones would have.
Correction:
When I measured the valves, I found they were the sizes he said they were. But according to the number on the heads, they were a smaller size as manufactured from GM, so the heads were machined to accept the "larger" valves. I wanted screw in studs because I'm using a high lift cam. I didn't get them. The studs aren't even pinned, so using these heads with the bigger cam is risky. I should have bought new heads from Speedway or Summit, saved money and got what I really wanted. Hey, education is always expensive.

Do not leave anything at this place of any value. If the owner wants it, he will steal it, along.with your deposit. Stole my motor and $8000.00.

Might be an excellent machinist , but it took months to get my block back. When it was done he gave me a break on the price originally quoted and said he'd install cam bearings for free. I stopped in twice to get the installation and have been waiting over a month for a call back. I went to ANR and got them done same day. Cost a few bucks but it's done. He might be a good machinist but he's a lousy business man.

Bobby Marcum did an outstanding job of building my engine for my old vette. He went above and beyond what most would have done to help me out....spending many long after hours at his own expense. I will forever be greatfull that I met the man. He definitely knows what he is doing and has a fantastic shop. Thanks for the experience.

Bobby takes pride in his work and he is an exellent Maschinst.
Sometimes it will take longer, because there are no qualified Workers, who can assist him, it defently makes it harder.
Good Job.
