My experience with Handyman was awesome !! From scheduling to the work done was top shelf...Jessie was friendly..clean and efficient... above and beyond the call of duty...I highly recommend and will be using this agency again in the near future. The crack in my ceiling that went down the wall looks amazing now. Makes me very happy !! Jesse did a great job.

Mr. Handyman was great! Called and Cody was able to schedule me right away. James came and so nice, knowledgeable and pleasure to talk with. Needed new dryer duct hose, James went to buy at Home Depot, returned and installed and also new vent cover. Very satisfied! Thank you James! I just completed a walk-thru with Jesse for an estimate of my desired work. He was patient, attentive to the highlighted areas, and knowledgeable enough about those areas to explain the problem(s) to me and gain my trust. Jesse did not come with a salesman mentality. Rather, he took the time to help me understand what would need to be done and why. He also gave clarity about the company’s services and how they work together, so that I am looking forward to giving Mr. Handyman a try at addressing my needs. Overall, he went above and beyond; and I have to say that we need more Jesse’s in the world.

Recently moved into a newish home in Norwich CT from out of state. Bought the property sight unseen so we were expecting a few "situations" to pop up. 3 months post move-in, we discovered termites working their way through the framework around an exterior garage door. Jesse came over to assess the damage and then advise. Extremely prompt. Extremely courteous and professional. He worked alongside us to come up with a plan to replace the door. Established a budget with us. Worked through every conceivable angle to overcome the termite problem, and he even advised how to flex the budget where it might extend us too far. We pulled materials, and he was back within the week. New door installed within hours. Tight; well built. Complete improvement to the entryway ... AND used synthetic materials over wood. Area around entry cleaned and cleared. All detritus hauled away. Jesse (and Mr. Handyman - (as Cody was also very considerate and prompt with scheduling)) truly went above and beyond installing solid product and helping overcome all issues.

Outstanding service from start to finish. I wish all home maintenance services were run this well. They set the bar pretty high and in the future they are our first call. We had a large decorative mirror hung in our dining room. Our technician, Jesse had the expertise and equipment to handle the installation. Could not be happier. Why take chances with other outfits? Read their reviews and then give them a call.

Extremely unprofessional, unskilled, and careless. We reached out to Mr. Handyman when the tile floor next to our sliding patio door broke through due to some water damage caused by the previous owner's negligence. We decided to take the opportunity to lay a new tile design and replace the patio door for which we were quoted $1000 and 1 day of work. In actuality, we ended up spending over 3x this and the job took 2 days.

The resulting look was well below what anyone would expect of a professional service with crookedly laid tile, sloppy/uneven grout, and an unleveled bowing to the whole thing.

To make matters worse, that section of the floor began to squeak and creak 1 month later. We raised this issue and they sent out someone to come and assess the situation. From there, it was determined that the initial handyman did not catch that the floor needed additional support installed which resulted in the bowing and squeaking. Subsequently, we were told that
the owner would need to come out and take a look as well in order to address this. Weeks went by trying to get something scheduled just to never have the owner bother to show up. The handyman that originally did the installation was sent back again to take a look at the issue and determine a resolution. Their proposed resolution? An automated email quoting us an additional $1062 price tag with the following stipulations: "Be aware that this may cause other issues such as tiles moving and failing, squeaks, wall cracks, and possible slider readjustments may also be needed. This will not completely fix the sag". So not only does this company not stand behind their craftsmanship, but they have the audacity to charge over $1000 not only to not fix the issue, but potentially cause more damage. We've been met with silence for well over a week now after replying to this quote raising our concerns.

Stay away from this "business" at all costs as they have no care for their customers and their operating practices are borderline criminal.
