I attempted to use Mystic CNC and lost over $5,000 in the attempt. The owner sought me out, was a good sales guy, acted very enthusiastic about my business and said he wanted to be a partner in my business. He also acted very enthusiastic about helping me develop it further. We geared up, I ordered him special parts for his machine at his request -- to the tune of hundreds of dollars -- ordered a substantial amount of materials and went to great lengths to have them delivered to him in Connecticut (I'm in another state), and he was ultimately unable to cut anything for me. Instead of trying to work out these problems or figure out how to fix the problem, the business owner went boating and became unavailable. I was so disappointed and wasted over $5k on the venture. He never reimbursed me for the parts he asked me to buy for him even though I never benefitted from them. I don't recommend this business.

I needed wooden dry-erase board material cut into squares and rectangles for my business -- nothing complicated. But dealing with Mystic CNC was like getting on a roller coaster that ended in a trash can. I sent Glenn, the owner, samples of my products so he could see exactly how they were made and the sizes and shapes I needed. He acted thrilled, told me he loved my product, wanted to be partners and go into business together. He offered to help me expand my business, do packaging and fulfillment of my orders. He pushed me to make my boards in more shapes, like dogs and turtles and stop signs. He asked me to purchase equipment for his shop that he said he needed for my job. I bought the additional equipment he asked for, totaling hundreds of dollars.

Months into this, when I asked him if he could please cut me some of the original square boards I'd asked him to make (because after all this time my stock was getting low), he told me it was sailing season so he couldn't get to it for awhile. After months of repeatedly asking him to cut some of the original square boards for me, he finally sent me a small batch. They were smaller than the sample board I had sent him, had twice the number of holes in them, the corners were too rounded, they were full of chips -- they were nothing like the samples I had sent him. They were unusable, and I had to trash them after paying the shipping to get them. He made no effort at all to rectify the situation. Instead, Glenn blamed the material I had bought him --which he asked for, and that I had painstakingly located and had shipped to him-- saying it was defective. (I bought 50 4x8' sheets of the dry erase material and had it shipped to him.) At that point Glenn stopped talking to me. Mystic CNC left me hanging and out thousands of dollars with nothing to show for it. But Glenn got some nice new equipment for his shop at my expense. My experience with Mystic CNC turned out to be an expensive disaster. I would definitely discourage anyone else from using this shop.
