Initially an outstanding experience- however after installing the base plate we discovered the wiring portion of the install was not going to be something we could handle even though we ARE mechanically inclined. So we paid to have that portion completed. The staff at NSA RV Products were helpful to my install company as they did have questions. However as I asked NSA RV Products if I could return the unused products for a partial refund - I was advised (through an email) of the 30 day return policy.
So not only could I not return those unused pieces but I did have to purchase additional pieces that were not included in the "all you need" package. My install company did confirm on the phone with NSA RV of the deficit of some pieces due to my specific vehicle - even though we spent much time on the phone when ordering based on the same vehicle.
So proceed with caution that you can handle the install (not as easy as they state it to be) and that you are prepared to do it right away in the event you need to return anything.

My personal experience so far has been outstanding. The "Ready Brute Elite II" itself has proven to be simple to use. I have no experience with any other setups, so I can't wax on about what's better or worse in comparison. However, I did have a parts issue after a handful of trips that made hooking up much more complicated. I contacted NSA service folks via email and included pictures and detailed explanations of what was happening. They were able to determine that the root cause was one of those "things happen sometimes" and not due to any misuse or abuse on our part and promptly shipped the necessary replacement components to put us back on the road. The system has safely towed our Jeep across several thousand miles at this point across some not so impressive parts of our infrastructure without any safety concerns and couldn't ask for better service than what we've received so far. Much appreciated.

Damaged my NSA tow bar while on vacation in New Mexico. Contacted NSA to find out what to do, and I was advised to ship the damaged parts back for repair.
I received the repaired parts in less than 2 weeks and was not charged for the repairs.

I ordered the Ready Brute Elite with custom-made Clevises and I needed it quickly for an upcoming trip with a new toad. They shipped my tow bar immediately so I could get all the braking cables installed and then shipped the custom clevises as soon as they were manufactured. I was able to get everything installed and properly adjusted in time for us to tow our new vehicle. Excellent and friendly service. Thank you Tod and Sue!

My wife and I drove thru Iola to have our recently purchased tow bar and readybrake system. It was installed and we went on our way for a summer of rving around the states. Up the road the red LED mounted by their techs on the dashboard stopped working. Further up the road a panic stop resulted in the brake calipers on the toad locking up which cost me over $200 to have both calipers and rotors replaced. My phone call to Tod ended with him agreeing to contact one of their installers near our home in TX when we returned home. When I contacted Tod to set up the appointment with their installer he gave me a completely different story and said my problem was between me and the installer and that he would not get involved. We went to another installer listed on their website and were told that they were "reluctant" to work on NSA products and that "their techs were not big fans" of NSA braking systems. So, NSA does not stand by their product and refused to reimburse us for the damage done to our toad brakes. Do NOT do business with this company.

I ordered custom clevises in order to attach our ReadyBrute Elite tow bar to a Jeep Wrangler. They are precisely the dimensions I provided on the order form and a great quality fabrication. If you are intending to flat tow a vehicle, buy one of their tow bars, I’ll recommend them to anyone who asks.

Do not order the 18.00 sling adapter for Blue Ox tow bar. Once installed, you will not be able to place your tow bars in the resting position. After discovering this flaw, I attempted to return the product as it was useless and was told that it couldn't be returned because it had scratches on it. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY NOAH especially after spending the money for their Ready Brake and other products. Do yourself a favor and stick with Blue Ox.
