A satisfied customer shares, "I've been in this building before but this was the first time I was paying a bill. I walked in and it was very clean office was organized. I went to the lady and she helped me pay my bill. No problems whatsoever and she had a very enjoyable personality. They did answer the many questions I had since I've never been in the building before so I would have to say thumbs up to them. I have not seen or heard of any problems from them so I would have to say great job you guys and will love to come back in and visit again."

My review is solely for an employee - CSR Tatum was very nice and helpful. I was actually very surprised they have a worker whose very professional and helpful and did not say "I don't know" It was late in the day and for her to still be very courteous on the phone and being patient is very rare on the NN. Great work!

Chinle District office personnel have been nothing but helpful and courteous to me. However, I emailed General Manager @ head office, with questions:
Why is area I reside at, prone to frequent outages?
What's up with the brown water, and do we pay for that as well? It's been over a year and 6 months, I've yet to receive a response...if I ever do, I'll let y'all know

I would give this company zero stars if possible. I have never had such horrendous experiences with a utilities company as I have with them. How they are even running a business is truly beyond my understanding. I have been "getting service" from NTUA for 8 months now and they have managed to royally screw up my bill EVERY SINGLE MONTH. One month I was even charged twice. They can't figure out how to get their stupid autopay function to work and even after assuring me that it's fixed, when I go to double check on their website, it NEVER works. Month after month, they continue to screw up clients' bills and accounts. They lack basic skills, common sense, and I'm pretty sure collectively, there is a singular brain cell functioning between everyone that works there.
Their customer service is a joke - you will wait on hold forever and when your call is finally put through, it just rings and rings and rings and no one will answer. It is infuriating to not be able to speak with anyone when they are the ones that continue to mess up.
I cannot say enough negative things about this company. It's a shame so many people depend on them for vital services because they are completely and utterly incompetent. They are an embarassment to the Navajo nation and their business practices are unacceptable.

I had my power cut even though I am on auto pay each month. I realized they switched portal or payment providers. Which deleted my account and made me late on a payment. No one communicated that this was going to happen. It's impossible to speak to customer service over the phone. It just drops the phone call. Customer service here is similar to IHS sadly...

NTUA Chinle has the worst customer service, they never answer their phones, placed on hold for over 30+ minutes, and when the call finally goes through we get the answering machine which doesn’t allow enough time to even leave the account number or important information for a return call. Imagine what our Diné elders have to go through to get their lights back on when phones are not being answered for payments. NTUA, do better & work toward your mission statement. At least, the very least—— answer your phones!
