Wrong vibe.

My first visit was excellent! I had all my questions answered about used Canon 5Ds and left with a LOVELY wooden replica Leica. The salesperson was warm and gave me total confidence for a future big purchase.

Went back last weekend, hoping to pick up a couple of cameras for kids in my family (old, $100–$200, w/good manual mode) plus some L-glass for me. They're a used camera shop with a big inventory, so it didn't feel like an unreasonable request. In a no-eye-contact social interaction, they acted like I was out of line for even asking. They mentioned one point-and-shoot model, but were coy and I had to ask to hear it was 10x the price.

I asked about a Canon 70–300 L IS for myself. He immediately snapped with "We don't have that." I turned to leave, already very done... he abruptly insists on checking their stock..? I had to stand there longer than what felt socially acceptable, all while he double-checked the very thing he just dismissed.

SURE, I'm an amateur. But, I'm not an inconvenience. Maybe it was the price range that threw them off, or maybe it was a different salesperson who knows. Been sittin' with me all week sorry :/

Came in today with a Sony cybershot DSC-W370 as I tried 3 different brand new SD cards and kept getting a memory card error even though they were supposed to be compatible with cyber shot cameras. I thought it was an issue with the memory slot but they were able to test the camera and show me what cards are compatible with my camera. Had me in and out within 3 minutes and didn’t charge me for anything.

I recently looked this place back up after visiting a little over a year ago, and being surprised by the amount of negative reviews, felt compelled to share my story. I bought a Germany manufactured Rollei 35 when I stopped in February of 24, along with some film. The gentleman who helped me in the store was very helpful, and graciously took out and showed me some the leica M3s, knowing I wasn’t going to buy one that day. The Rollei 35 ended up having an unfortunate issue with the lens/barrel. I initially sent it back for repair, and upon receiving it back, it still had the issue, at which point Roozbeh offered to take it back again for repair. I decided at that point I’d rather have my money back than chase an unknown issue, and I was refunded as soon as they received the camera back.

Things break with these decades old devices that we love to use, it’s what happens, and it’s not always easy to figure out. The only thing I can ask for from a shop is for them to honor their warranty, which OC did without question. I would confidently buy from them again

Without an expert to guide you, your time and money can easily be wasted—but Roozbeh saved me both. Nice camera store with a big selection of used equipment. My only complaint is that when I bought film here I noticed when I got home that it was a week until it's expiration date.

I'm giving two stars because the place is reliably open and carries an array of product and I have paid reasonable prices for used items from them, however, the staff I have encountered time after time are extremely rude. Now, I also want to premise this with the fact that perhaps these people are not capable of gauging, social interactions and professional interactions, so I want to start by giving them the benefit of the doubt if that is the case and the many reviews indicating rudeness are because of some kind of Asperger's or autism, in which case I would understand. Now, it's usually the same one or two guys that sit at the counter and on many occasions, I have been dealt with rudely and made to feel like I was being tested and evaluated by them. I have also had cameras repaired there, and I was spoken to, like I was a moron, and was crazy for wanting specific repairs done on cameras that I use in very specific ways. So, on one such occasion, after debate, they sent my camera out for repair, it came back wrapped in plastic and sealed, so I stuck it in my closet and saved it as my back-up for when I needed it. Two years later, when the time came, the problem that the camera was brought in with was still the same, a stuck shutter. I brought the camera back to them at this point, because I wanted to at least address the issue. I made it very clear that I understood that so much time had passed that I could not possibly hold them accountable, but I also wanted to point out to them that I'm an honest person, and that this was the circumstance, they handed me that camera, wrapped in plastic, and it went directly into a soft case in a closet where it stayed. It is inconceivable to think that the shutter that was replaced by them, would have the same issues I brought it in with. That was the only repair requested, and it seems to have not been performed. Instead of just acknowledging my grievance, because I wasn't asking for anything in return, they became confrontational and it was more important for them to argue their point than to provide good customer service. In the end, I ended up buying a secondhand camera from them at a reasonable price, out of immediate necessity. But now that it is time to have a lens fixed, I am not looking forward to dealing with these guys and am no longer confident that repairs will be done correctly or at all. I am going to drive a little further to another shop that has been recommended to me this time and will report on their page what my experience was. This was not easy for me to write. I don't like leaving bad reviews for small businesses and also didn't want to create a problem for myself should I HAVE TO rely on going there ever again, but after reading so many other reviews about the rudeness, I decided to tell my story.

Oh ya, they also try to scrutinize batteries and find any reason they can to tell you that you have something wrong. It came off as some kind of ploy to sell or deny me something.

These guys really know their stuff about cameras! I brought in my Nikon D 7000 because I thought it needed servicing however it just needed a few adjustments to the settings and a good lens cleaning. They were also super knowledgeable about Photography lighting and could answer all of my questions with ease. Thank you for your help. !
