I recently purchased suspenders and a tool bag for my son. I already knew the quality would be great since his brother has owned the same ones for years. My mother wanted to pay for part of the order so I placed two separate orders. A gentleman called me shortly after I ordered to confirm the address since there was an error on one of them. They then shipped the orders together and credited my credit card for the shipping cost that I would have incurred if shipped separately. So not only is this a great product but they have excellent customer service as well!

Like Andrew Mauchley, my son is also a union electrician with the local 551. He is 25, but knows a high quality product. When I asked him what he needed for Christmas this year he knew exactly what - Occidental Leather's Electricians Tool Belt. I promptly ordered, and was *happy* to. I shop local, and could not have been more delighted to fulfill his obvious educated request. He knew he would be receiving a quality tool belt that would last him his entire career. When the package arrived, like two days after I ordered it, I did not open it to inspect, I wanted to be surprised. When my son opened this gift, it was literally the most beautiful piece of craftsmanship I think I have ever seen. We could not have been more impressed with the workmanship, quality, leather, stitching etc. He is SO excited to sport these fine fine bags, and I was happy to support our local creators, and a young man who appreciates a well crafted item in his efforts to pursue his own goals while working with his hands.

I've been a carpenter for the last five years and everytime I asked somebody what the best belt/bags to get were the response was Occidentals. So after burning through my last pair I pulled the trigger and bought a pair along with the suspension system. Not only are they the best I've ever worn but Occidentals Customer service is like no other I've ever experienced. Some how upon receiving the belt it was not the right size so after doing some measurements I sent them an email with pictures and a description to do an exchange and within 30 minutes I received a phone call from them telling me that they didn't want me to worry and be rest assured that they would send me the right size immediately. 2 days later I got the new size. Cannot put into words how happy I am with the whole experience. Thank you so much for a great product and exceptional customer service! ?

In today's online market I would think that returning an incorrect order would be simple. I accidentally ordered the 2535 suspended bag system mistakenly taking it for the 2500 vest in the picture. The second I opened the box and realized my mistake. Unfortunately they don't work with people and I was told no exchanges. The suspension system is not suitable for short people and now I'm stuck with a piece of garbage I can't use.

I've been a carpenter for 25 years. Bought an occidental leather bag system with the harness. Decent set up, but the clips they install on the harness systems are incredibly cheap. Had two of then break in the second year owning the pouch. The clips I buy at the hardware store for $3 to replace them have lasted longer. Bottom line is, if I pay over $400 for bags I expect them to be a little heavier duty.

I’ve been in construction for 15 years, currently a union electrician for the IBEW local 551. I got my first pair of Occidental tool bags over a decade ago. I transitioned to their tool vest about 4 years ago because of health issues. From the first day of wearing the vest I knew it was a great choice. I had an minor issue with it 4 years later (now) and casually contacted them to see if they had a solution. They went out of their way to ensure I was a happy construction worker.
