First time here, VERY good experience. The man was extremely accommodating, the place was neat and clean and the food was great with good size portions. The weather was terrible and I was surprised to even see a restaurant open, extremely glad they were! 👍

Absolutely delicious! Got the Moo and Oink and potato salad. Sandwich was huge! The got a rack of ribs to bring home.
Home made bbq sauce was awesome.
The ribs were so juicy and flavorful.
Will definitely be going back.
The owner was super friendly.

Quaint dining area that’s clean and accommodating. Staff was very nice and friendly. Ordered the sample platter with beans and good portions for each meat sample. It’d be hard to choose just one next time since the smoke was perfect and the meats were all good. Haven’t had tips since back home in Chicago. Definitely going back

The atmosphere gives a southern soul food restaurant, I loved that. But I would really like to highlight the food it was perfect if I recommend anything, definitely the pulled pork sandwich. I do have one complaint but it has an upside the brisket I got was dry but it was the offer of replacement that gets a 10/10 if anyone would ask if I would come here again I would say YES in a heartbeat. I highly recommend!!!

The atmosphere inside is really nice, it's easy to miss this spot from the road so look for the sign. The food is hands down the best BBQ in the area. Mac and cheese was delicious, rice and beans very tasty and the turnip greens were on point. The sampler plate is a great price, try it with both sauces! I was almost too full for the pie but good thing I took a bite because it was heaven. Good music, nice people, great food, clean restaurant with fresh food. 10/10 will come again.

Totally new to the area and at first our team tried “Joes” in Kansas City and were quite disappointed. I then called this place in hopes they would save our trip with some bomb BBQ and that is EXACTLY what they did. Right off the bat we were welcomed with love and the lady knew exactly what to recommend and serve for us. Sweet tea tasted just like the southern sweet tea, meats were tender and full of flavor INCLUDING their sauce, sides were also the best. You can tell everything was homemade and made with love. Thank you guys for giving us an unforgettable experience in Kansas!

Did not enjoy this place at all ordered a half rack of ribs and macaroni the food is not fresh and gets reheated in the microwave macaroni had no taste at all and the rib meat was hard to get off with more fat than meat and plastic silverware that bends when u try to use it...I eat alot of bbq and this for me is just not it the ladie did give me a portion of the money back but didnt like me saying what was wrong even told me they have 4.7 stars on google i could go look as if my personal experience was not accurate based on the other reviewers im not able to recommend eating here as the experience was not up to par with an enjoyable meal or experience....I didnt even eat 1 rib and when takin back to the counter u ate right off of the plate started ripping meat off the bone with ur bare hands telling me what i was saying was wrong the picture is exactly what the meal i took to the counter looked like sorry to say you lied in your reply and microwave leftovers but we paid fresh food prices

We came upon Ogden Backyard BBQ when we were searching for places to eat in Junction City, KS. The reviews were so awesome, we had to check it out for ourselves. It truly is a 5 star eatery! Just like everyone has said in past reviews the waitress and owner were so welcoming and friendly. They treated us like old friends. The food was out of this world good! We both ordered the sampler meal. The dining area was clean and simply decorated. We will definitely be returning. Stop by. It will end up being your favorite place to keep returning to.
