AmyJo is THE BEST - Ole Yankee Farm is where we started our goat journey 5 years ago. We initially bought 4 Nigerian Dwarfs from her and have since grown to a herd of over 30.... all of which AmyJo has either sold me, advised me, or assisted me in achieving the new addition. She is always so knowledgeable and eager to mentor. She is invested in finding great homes for her goats and educating her customers. I can not imagine goat farming without her - she is one of a kind for sure!

I purchased my 2 nigerian dwarf doelings from Amy at Ole Yankee Farm. And I am so glad I did. Not only are they healthy and great blood lines. But she is an awesome mentor, always very responsive to any questions I have any time of day. Very educated on all her animals and their care. You can see how much time, love and care go into the animals. She even went out of her way to drive 45 mins to help me when I needed help. Especially if you're new to raising goats or poultry, she's the best option out there. I highly recommend this farm.

Placed an order for 7 chicks in Feb. Around the middle of April I started inquiring about the chicks and when we could expect our order. If was SO difficult to get a correspondence in return.
After a couple back and fourths about how the order was waiting on a couple breeds we finally decided that we would just take what she had ready and get a refund for the two chicks we would be missing. It was another two weeks and she never responded to our answer so we then canceled our order and got chicks from somewhere else (On May 19th)
It took another three weeks to get our return. She claimed she sent the return to the wrong person which may have been true but I never received any notification that the return request was received or that the refund would be processing.
If you are running a business there should be much better communication. Lesson learned and won’t order from there again.

Beware!!! We experienced the absolute worst customer service by this farm. I'm not sure where to even start. We pre ordered chicks on Feb 4th 2024. April 10th and 17th I emailed the farm for updates with zero response. April 19th I finally heard from Amy via Facebook to get an update on our 3 chicks. After giving our order number I was told "That one I might be able to do this weekend." The weekend came and gone with no word from the farm. May 10th I reached out again and was told I'd have to wait until May 31st to get a full refund of our order. May 31st comes around and I ask for the full refund. Amy said she'd do it that weekend and "promises she won't forget." June 5th I was told our refund was submitted. We gave it a few business days and nothing had come through. It is now June 18th with NO REFUND. I provided so much patience during this whole ordeal and I am now fed up. Amy mentioned she has no time to respond to emails. Excuse me? You run a business and by doing so customer service is absolutely required when you take someones money!
