We drove 10 hours this past week to have Robert of Otwell Welding and Fabrication diagnose and correct the front end problems that we have been experiencing with our Ford E350 van. After having a mechanic in Arizona charge us over $2000 and not cure the death wobble, Robert found and easily fixed the problem. From now on we will make that 10 hour drive for all of our front-end issues, and get it fixed right the first time. Thanks, Robert!

Otwell did an amazing job on the roll cage for my 4Runner he made it super strong and secure with the frame tie in kit and it fits amazing. Thank you for the harness bar and tire carrier too !!

Robert saved my weekend. Trailer hanger was ripped from frame. I called Orwell welding right next to Johnson Valley. He was upfront on prices. He could come to my camp in his 4x4 welding truck or I could limp my RV to his shop. Robert welded me up right away in his beautiful clean shop. He even put my spare tire on (had a leak) and let me sneak a little water since I ran out. Fair price and outstanding welding from a super cool guy.

I’m very impressed with Robert and David’s work.

Firstly, he is very patient. It took months for my parts to show up during the Covid bit. Robert would spend time talking about options with me and never once did I feel rushed, and he never asked for a penny in return.

Second, he was very accommodating. Once all my materials were available, he stayed open late for me while I trailered it from Oregon.

Third he kept me in the loop. During the build Robert kept me current with phone calls and updated pictures. There was never any doubt that my truck was in good hands.

Forth he knows who can provide good services. He has excellent support from other local businesses to help with things like balancing and 4-wheel alignments. I drove the truck back to Oregon when it was literally 115 degrees F. for most the trip, without a hitch.

Now I have what must be one of the nicer builds in Oregon. Thank you Robert and David!

Robert Otwell runs a first class operation by building his business one satisfied customer at a time. I am one of them. He is a man of his word and completely transparent. I contracted with him about 14-18 months to upgrade my 2007 Lexus GX 470 with the Marlin Crawler RCLT with RCV axles and Frontrange 9.5 Diamond axle with 5.29 gears. The delays were not his fault. Had to wait on Marlin, RCV and Frontrange. It took Robert about two weeks to complete the install which included less than a day delay for a partially severed finger. The install also included his discovery of a flaw with the RCLT/RVC and his work around. Can’t say enough good things about Robert and his operation. Trustworthy, skilled, honest, meticulous, goes the extra mile. Man of Faith and great American!
