Overhead Door really helped us in a time of need. Of course the door would go the night before an important surgery but they were there for us and came out that night and got us temporary use of the door to get our vehicle out. It was holiday time so thank you to the gentlemen who offered to extend his day. Cudos to all of you folks who run this business and the gentleman who ultimately fixed our door was so professional, respectful and courteous! Happy New Year to all of you.

Our Overhead door was installed approximately 20 years ago.
Still works very well but one of the remotes needs to be replaced.
We were advised that it would be $ 60.00 plus tax to replace. An Overhead installer was working next door at my neighbors house.
We called the office and advised them what we needed and they sent the gentlemen over to check out the older garage door motor.
He then reported back to his office and we paid for the new remote over the phone. They said they would mail us the new remote and it would have simple instructions to code it.
Over 2 weeks have passed and no word of ship date or ETA.
Today we called the Norwich Overhead Door Office and they claimed they have no idea what remote we needed, and that we would have to pay extra for shipping fee.
Extremely unprofessional.
They wanted to collect the postage fee before determining which remote we needed.
We were then advised that it would be $ 100.00 Labor to code it.

From the beginning Overhead was easy to deal with. Mike, Sales, showed up promptly and understood exactly what we needed. On the day of the installation, Russ, the installer, showed up during two hour window, looked over the situation and promptly went to work. The springs and opener were installed in less than two hours. Both Mike and Russ were open to as many questions as I could throw at them and had answers for all of them. We wouldn't hesitate to engage Overhead for our garage door needs.

Installers were prompt and courteous. I had 2 large commercial doors installed. There was minor damage from the factory to the decorative overlay. The installers immediately pointed it out, took pictures, and notified their office for follow up. Install took most of the day. The installers were neat, cleaned up after, and explained the equipment and operation. The doors work great.

Called to get my garage doors modified. Had the salesman from the company come and quote me out. When he showed up he looked at what needed to be done and realized it needed to be completed by the commercial side. It took them a week to get the commercial side out there to eventually give me a bloated quote. I needed the work done so I accepted the quote and never heard back after. Apparently they didn’t want my money so went elsewhere and went with a company that quoted me 33 percent less and did a way better job then they could’ve ever done anyways.

Don’t waste your time. They price gouge
