The parking meter maids systemically targeted my car and ticketed it repeatedly, until it got impounded. The city parking "woman" and the tow truck driver were savage like hyenas preying on my car. Btw I was constantly having to be overly freaked out and always randomly had orange "you can't park there stickers" after 2 or 4 days or whatever is was. I parked there for a couple or few days before the limit. I know this and don't care about the specific dates because I was ticketed again on my birthday and I knew I didn't park there for more than a day or two. Screw these guys. I've been treated like this my entire life and know I'm not an anomaly because I'm a small brown Latino guy and only one of like a few brown people that actually live in Pacific Grove, living at my girlfriend of 5 years, parents house. My girlfriend and her parents are both therapists and taught me I am under duress of systematical "white" abuse and racism my entire life. The younger generations are not putting up with this abuse anymore and realizing that we are in charge now, not the self destructing older generations seeking comfort and narcissistic status and privilege. Pretending this stuff doesn't exist continues this abuse.

It seems people only like to complain of bad experiences, human nature I guess. But when you stop to think, are you simply upset at policies that are being enforced by city employees?

So assuming you have had a recent visit and you took the time to complain, was it really something you wanted to be exempt from,, or was it the city just picking on you?
That being said, I've had nothing but service that was extremely helpful, educational, and professional.
Thank you Debbie for your patience and all the help I've received from you and your colleagues. Keep up the good work. I hope more people take the time to acknowledge the helpful and friendly things you provide rather than complain about something that most likely is their own faults.

Runs a very efficient parking meter scam. The meter magically resets to zero after 3 hours, even if you pay for 7 hours. Avoid parking in the city limits, and instead patronize businesses in the neighboring cities.
