Our company has brought about 20 order pickers from them, the pickers are find but you'll find that they often use the cheap materials and break down easy.
PapeMH seems to be great on the first 3 year but after the warranty period end, you'll be sorry because they will be the time they'll start scamming you.
There were many incidents in our company when the unit break down, they will claim the parts is wear and tear and it would not cover under warranty. You'll have to ague with them on everything to get the repair done under warranty. And if the problem occurred during the warranty period, they will do barely minimum to get by until it past the warranty period then they'll let you know that it'll need to repair/replace immediately.
Also PapeMH do not stock any repair parts, you'll either have to wait 2 to 3 weeks so they could get the parts from "Stock Order" or you'll have to pay extra for the freight. Usually from $25 ~ $300. Or they'll tell you, "this parts break down often, but we don't stock them but you could orders a few so you could have it repaired immediately."
Also most of their technician still don't know how to repair the unit or do a proper diagnostic. They often keep replacing parts until the problem is gone. And guess who'll need to pay!?
And their repair are extremely expansive. Each repair call will be charge 1. Diagnostic, 2. Zone Charge, 3. Travelliing each for 1 hour at $195 each. And worst of it is when we have a technician repairing one of the units (multiple tries). and we have asked him to give us the price on replacing the drive tire as well. And they would charge us $205 for it when we don't want to replace it yet. So I've inquired about it and they said "Anytime you ask to prepare a quote we charge you labor & time to prepare a quote as well. My technician has to look up parts & prepare the quote".
So I think they will start charging you to even call them or email them in the future.
They may sell you the unit cheap, but you'll have to pay thru the sky for the repair cost! Anything break down you'll have to prepare to pay $3K to $6K to get it fix.
So you've been warn to stay away from the Hyster and definitely from PapeMH!

Had a Yale Pallet Jack for probably two decades that finally needed some service or needed to be replaced. Called the number on the pallet jack for service and Pape asked me to fill out a credit card form before processing the service call. I thought this was weird at first but we desperately needed those jacks up and running again. They send the technician out and he takes one look at the pallet jack and tells me it'll be too expensive to repair and to buy a new one. I get a quote a few day later for two new pallet jacks for $299 each and a bill of service for $236.06! I asked them to waive the service fee as the technician did not service my machines and drove at most 7 miles to get to my location and was here for approximately 15 minutes. They said that the labor charge still stands but that they waived a service fee of $155 that was not on the original work order they sent me. This means that without quoting me a baseline price of sending out a technician, knowing that even with minimal service they would have charged me $391.06 to service a $299 valued machine. Had I received the baseline quotation before they sent a technician, I would have just bought a new pallet jack.

Do not do business with this company. Their business practice is deceptive and while it's my fault for providing my credit card before the actual consent of service, I will never be doing business with this company ever again.

We bought two reach truck from them few years ago,and one of them hydraulic function stop to work. We called them come to fix it. The technician spend hours and half has no idea what is he doing, and the technician told me the company send the wrong guy, so I suggest him call his company for help since he is already here.few days later we got a quotation from them for $5000 to replace the hydraulic pump and motor. Since it is very expensive, I decided to look at by myself. The problem go away by end up adding some hydraulic oil. The worst part have not come yet. After Another few days, we got bill $1000 for diagnosis since we not need to fix anything. They are robber and thief. I would never ever buy hyster or yale products again because of such so bad dealers.

Company I work for wanted to buy about $20k worth of electric forklift batteries. Due to overall bad experiences with "reconditioned" batteries, knew I had to give my company the best chance of a successful investment in New Batteries only. Spent Days gathering quotes, sometimes directly from manufacturers like Trojan & Motive.
Pape came in with the Best new batt price, so they were an easy sell to my decision makers, as I knew Pape was a legit company.
Unfortunately, Motive Energy direct-shipped us a couple of severely weather-damaged "new" batts that didn't have enough fluid to test even after a full overnight charge.
-Enter Pape and their staff... after sending just a few images of these "$7k batts", they dispatched a truck post-haste. Nabbed the nasty batts and had some Sweet new & Fresh batteries delivered in just a few days.
Now my lift experience began in the mid-90's as a road service tech. Before that, I was a hydraulic mechanic working on things like press tables at places like skunkworks.
So I've got a huge appreciation for material handling companies that have weathered the recent storms like 2008 (ugh), & covid lockdowns. And I realize that transactions don't always go perfectly.
But I've learned 1 important thing. Pape material handling operates with Integrity and if there's an issue, they Do Not shy away from the opportunity of making it right. It is for this reason that I will continue to include their bids in what is a very competitive business.

Very very profession people my only negative is that I had to use restroom and I wasn't allowed to use restroom while making my delivery to top it off the fellow unloading me went to lunch knowing I wanted to get out if here asap which all that needed to be done was to drive a forklift out of my trailer and in five minutes I could have been gone so the inconsideration is not appreciated at all other than that its awesome place to deliver

I'm wondering if they'll put up a tree or fire hydrant outside at least a dog can take a leak
