Paul Davis Restorations was contracted by my insurance provider to provide mitigation services following a small roof leak at my Montrose County property. Do you want to know why insurance rates are so high? I will be blunt: Paul Davis Restorations of Western Colorado is _not_ a trustworthy business; they are shysters.

I live out of the state and could not be present during their 'mitigation' work, and they took advantage of that to greatly expand the scope of their own work in order to enrich themselves under my insurance claim. They inflicted far, far more damage to my property through their 'mitigation' vs. the small amount of water damage that I sought to have covered. Throughout this process they provided knowingly false information to myself and to my insurer. It is clear that they were hoping to use my insurance claim to create a large, artificial mitigation and reconstruction project until I was finally able to intervene and recover the situation using reputable providers. My insurer ultimately covered the reconstruction cost, but I'll never recover the headache and 6-month loss-of-use. If possible, stay away from this provider.

P.S. If you are dubious about this review, take a close look at the other reviews for this provider. Are the reviewers local guides, and what do thy say? Or are they phantom reviewers with a very small number of Google reviews... or are they employees - as in the case of at-least one 5-star reviewer.

Paul Davis Restoration in Montrose was hired through my insurance provider, Liberty Mutual, after water damage occurred in my laundry room basement on 8/26/24. Initially, I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently they managed the pack-out and drying process. However, issues started to arise after the damaged drywall was found to contain asbestos.
Although my insurance could not cover the asbestos inspection cost in time, I paid out of pocket with the understanding that I would be reimbursed by PDR. Today is 11/26/24 and I’m STILL waiting for the final phase of reconstruction and reimbursement.
The situation has been further complicated by a lack of clear communication. I’ve been repeatedly told that payments were issued or in progress, only to later learn from the asbestos company that PDR claimed they were waiting on me for payment. My adjuster confirmed the dates and amounts for two payments sent directly to PDR, not to me, which had already been cleared.
Given these ongoing issues, including misinformation about payment status, I no longer trust Paul Davis Restoration and do not wish to continue the final phase of reconstruction with them. I feel that they have taken advantage of my insurance since they are a preferred provider for financial gains. I have been extremely patient throughout this process and at this point I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. I expect a follow up ASAP and I am seeking advice from my attorney.

I was incredibly impressed with the outstanding service provided by Paul Davis for our preschool. When we encountered a potentially hazardous sewage leak in the crawl space of our school, I immediately reached out to Paul Davis for assistance in mitigation to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Their response time was remarkable, with their team arriving at the school in just over half an hour after my call. They wasted no time in getting to work, demonstrating a clear understanding of the urgency of the situation. Their efficiency and dedication to completing the job swiftly were evident, as they worked diligently to ensure minimal disruption to our operations.

Moreover, I was impressed by the respect and care with which they treated both me and our school environment. Their professionalism was evident in every aspect of their service delivery.

I wholeheartedly endorse Paul Davis and would highly recommend their services to anyone in need. They are a shining example of professionalism and excellence in their field.

Glen and his company is very knowledgeable and professional! He did a great job with my fire cleanup and repair; he was responsive on time. Got the parts in a timely fashion. Didn't take long at all to fix the fireplace and he showed me exactly what I needed to do if something wasn't to turn on again. Thank you! I'll be using them again for future repairs

I have never been as impressed with any company I've worked with as I have with Paul Davis restoration. From the very first time we spoke they showed up that day and reassured me everyday up until completion that they would do professional inspection, work with my insurance take care of all my possessions and fix it back to perfect condition. They have done all the above and even gone beyond to help me and reassure me since I am disabled and single and the water damage that made them tear apart my room was pretty difficult to deal with by myself. They're all so competent and friendly I so highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration!

Waited months for a quote update (dec 23) to be provided to fit the correct scope of work, only to find that multiple staff members no longer work in the office (Glen, Justin). Finally got a hold of Patryck who then said they don't have resources available. Patryck said it would likely be 2-3 months and that time has now expired. If trying to give a company money is this difficult, I can't imagine what the other side is like.
