We called Paving by Custom Construction because we had damage to our driveway. Joe came by right away to survey the damage. He gave us the choice of just repairing the damage or for a bit more replace the entire drive, fix our front and side steps AND haul away a tree stump so we could widen the rear of the driveway. We went for it all. We are beyond happy with the results! Joe and his team are professional and have an eye for detail. My wife and I recommend Paving by Custom Construction.

Our driveway had to be replaced as it was 30 years old. Several sink holes were also present. We got four quotes including Custom Paving. A salesman for the other companies came and quoted the driveway and never said how they intended to fix the sink holes. This company’s owner comes and quotes the driveway and explains what process they will do to fix the sink holes. All prices were similar except the previous companies quoted 2 1/2 inches compressed to 2 inches for the driveway which is what they called standard for residential driveways. Custom quoted a full 3 inches compressed to 2 1/2. Four weeks later, the workers come including the owner to do the driveway. The owner notices the driveway settled a little more than expected and had them go get another load of dirt to bring it up so it would be even with the grass , at no extra cost. The owner comes and works alongside the workers to make sure it is done right , his attention to detail was excellent. That is him running the bobcat and him on the left main control of the paving machine.

Very disappointed with the service from start to finish. The final price ended up being higher than the original quote, and they didn’t inform me until the day before they planned to pour the asphalt. They also advertised a 3-year warranty, but when I raised concerns about an issue, they made excuses instead of honoring it. On top of that, they have been ignoring my calls and emails. My driveway looks terrible, and I regret using their services. Poor quality work and zero accountability—definitely would not recommend.

Paving by Custom Construction just replaced my old asphalt driveway with some extension. Based on the overall experience, I certainly gave them a five-star rating. When I contacted the company, they responded fast. The company’s owner Joe stopped by and discussed with me about the project and answered my questions. Later he provided me with a detailed quote including the cost for replacement and expansion. Joe and his staff did an excellent job for laying down the foundation and paving the asphalt. Now my new driveway looks awesome! I really appreciated their professionalism and the details that they paid attention to. During the process, Abby from the company responded my questions about scheduling in a very good time manner. I would highly recommend the company!

Joe and Abby run a great business. Very customer focused. Really easy to work with. Joe had some great suggestions that worked out great. We added a concrete apron with a drain. Joe suggested we add a color and it looks great with the garage and house.

From the first meeting with Joe, he was honest, understood our questions and explained everything perfectly. Abby was always available for any questions or concerns we had. The work crew (all of them who do the day to day stuff) very experienced, professional, polite, and work neat and left things clean. Except for the new driveway you may have not known they were there. Joe's uncle is a great guy, he has been doing paving for over 60 years. Paving by Custom Construction is the way to go if you need any paving job done.

Joe did my driveway in 2021 I wanted to wait a bit before I gave a proper review. It was tough finding a good paving company in Enfield. Joe had very competitive and fair pricing. Signed the contract and they ripped out the old driveway and put new base in within a single day at the end of June. The crew came back towards the end of September to pave. The driveway looks fantastic and I love the curb they did around my gravel flowerbed. Water drainage was done perfectly shedding all rain and hose water off to the lower end of the property. Highly recommend and would definitely use again (hopefully not for a very long time).
