Awesome place! Gary & his team are super friendly & knowledgeable. True bike aficionados who go the extra mile for the love of bikes (pun intended I suppose). Gary gave an amazing overhaul on my vintage Gary Fisher. Highly recommend & will definitely be a repeat customer!

The entire Pedal Power team have been super helpful and courteous throughout the entire process in buying my dream bike. Their knowledge, eagerness to help, attention to detail and overall customer service is A1.

Friendly helpful staff. While I found a few items to be excessively expensive, there were others that were in line with what I'm seeing at other bike shops. I had a great experience with a specific item being in stock and at a reasonable price. Of course I didn't do any research on it, but I was still comfortable with the price at the moment. If you are afraid of the overpriced shopping experience on Main St, I would recommend at least checking here, you might be pleasantly surprised as I was

All staff were super helpful and knowledgeable, coordinating between two stores (Middletown & Essex) to make sure I got the bike that was the best fit for me in terms of actual fit, and which also fit the biking experience I wanted. We have purchased my granddaughter’s first Trek bike! The bike is made like all Trek bicycles - well made, just the right size, and when she’s ready for her next ride, it’s is transferable to next size up with a 50% credit! Customer service is wonderful!

There are many bike shops out there but this one is a gem and head and shoulders above others. The 2024 Tuesday night group rides out of Middletown were well organized, well attended and had great support from the shop. Any time that you go to the Middletown shop, the customer support from Rick, Paul and the store manager (nice lady) is wonderful. The staff listens, gives great advice and helps you find what you need. Thank you Middletown Pedal Power team for being awesome. I enjoyed buying gear from you, the group rides, the cookouts and of course the friendship of others that love the sport of cycling.
