UPDATE: I need to amend my previous review. After a long day, I pulled a 5 lb. 3 oz. butt roast from the fridge, which I had defrosted earlier this week for a family visit this weekend. To my dismay, I discovered at 11 p.m. that over two pounds of the roast was fat, and the meat itself was mostly cartilage.

Upon inspecting the other packages, I found that the pork chops were missing substantial portions, as the meat wasn’t properly attached to the ribs. After raising pigs for butcher for six years, this is the first time I've encountered such issues. It seems that the white paper wrapping might be a tactic to obscure quality and avoid direct confrontation. I suspect that I was shorted in return weight and given subpar meat instead of what should have been high-quality pork.

This was our first year getting our pigs processed here, he did an amazing job. Everything came out beautifully! His kabasi seasoning is on point! And the convenience of him coming to the house for dispatch and then to call it back to the shop is outstanding ! I look forward to seeing him next year ?

Piggy Pete’s is the only place I will ever bring my meat too the wrapping is always very good. I’ve never been disappointed. With anything that ever goes wrong he does his best to fix or replace it. He’s straight forward and understanding. The sausage season is never dull always full of flavors. I always recommend him to everyone!! Hands down go to piggy Pete

I had purchased a 1/4 cow from Piggy Pete's and had my first roast yesterday. Absolutely superb! I made a Mississippi pot roast and it melted in our mouths! Previously have had the ground beef in multiple recipes and equally happy. Highly recommend.

Super happy with our steer being processed. Meat was super tender and not a ton of fat left on like we asked for and the price was very reasonable. Packaging was very nice would high recommend using we will be going back.

Piggy Pete’s is the place to go. Everyone there is super friendly. They are fair priced and do quick, clean and quality work. I ended up getting the maple sausage made and wow is it delicious. All the meat is wrapped up nicely. They definitely earned themselves a repeat customer.

We cooked breakfast this morning and cooked the kielbasa and sweet onion garlic sausage. Both have the best flavors. You taste the sweet onion garlic immediately and the flavors lingere even after eating pancakes and syrup. We won't be buying store bought kielbasa or pork sausage anymore.
