I am one of those lucky people that get called yearly for jury duty, so I have had the fortune of experiencing this in multiple states. I can confidently say the pay here is just about the worst. Jury duty for a day is nice however because I’ve had the fun of having it 3 weeks. However, the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard is you have to pay for parking!!!! What? You can’t reimburse jurors for parking? That’s a very small thing and if you are forcing people to drive downtown during traffic, to an area they may be unfamiliar, the very least you could do is give them a place to park…
