I really wanted to order some sofas. So went in to look at the fabric before placing the order- the lady in furniture was so rude racist and disrespectful. Kept saying we don’t have this fabric. You must be mistaken with west elm. I said at least try and look. Finally she gave in. Clearly didn’t want to work or help her customers. Do not recommend at this location.

Condescending staff that have trouble answering simple questions. Asking us multiple times if the measurements we provided are correct, and that there is no cancellation. Why would we spend $10k on a couch without knowing the measurements to our own home?

Stopped by for furniture shopping, great options as always. I didn’t end up buying from here as we ended up picking furniture from West Elm.

I went to pick up an online order purchased via credit card. Because the product/ornament was bigger than expected, I asked to make an exchange. I was informed that digital records indicated I purchased an item via gift card and would need to wait a period of days to receive my money back- in the form of another gift card. I showed the store clerks proof of my credit transaction through my credit card company’s records via phone. I was told that if I wanted the money returned to my credit card, I’d need to call customer service. I called customer service and was quickly refunded the money back to my credit card. Customer service said there was no record of a gift card purchase only credit.

My money was good, and I feel that I was polite. I hope that this was an honest mistake and that I was not being treated with suspicion-which is what it felt like.

Beyond rude sales staff. They are lazy, condescending and try as hard as they can to avoid doing any work. The Pleasanton store (now closed) and Walnut Creek store were/are fantastic. I have had multiple experiences at the Bishop Ranch location that were awful. I will now drive out of my way to avoid Bishop Ranch.

Extremely disappointed by the store at Bishop Ranch. They basically told my wife at multiple occasions that they cannot come to our home for inhome consultation for our family room setup.

First they scheduled a time, my wife a physician took time off to meet the designer, however the designer never showed up. Since then, my wife has gone to the store multiple times to schedule sometime, based on the repeated emails from Pottery Barn to schedule an inhome designer consultation - but this location has always found one way or the other not to come.

We have always been to the Walnut Creek store and they have been great over the years. And we have bought a lot stuff from them.

This location - either does not have correct training or the staffing is just not interested in working.

We are sorry but we cannot go back to this location - we will drive an additional 30-mins to Walnut Creek and get superior experience. They are much busier than the Bishop Ranch store - still they are miles ahead in customer service.

Others may have different experience.

Bought a bed frame three weeks ago. One of the legs is still missing and bed frame left in pieces in my bedroom, cannot use and messy. The team from their damn outsourced company came twice and still did not fix the frame.

Store experience was great with good service and some personnel going the extra distance to find one’s dream furniture. My story - ordered two sofas and after 6 weeks of waiting only one was delivered. After 4 attempts to get an update (additional 2 weeks), they finally ordered a replacement which is another 6 weeks to deliver assuming they don’t mess it up again.

With this terrible experience I am no longer planning to shop here or any of its other stores although they have some great products.
