These guys had to boost or fix a power line in front of my home that was effecting another home on my street, not mine. POWERTOWN and their 6 workers were here all day, dug up the area in front of mine and my neighbors house and after a few hours I started to notice my electric oven would not heat up and my Microwave was not working right so I went outside to talk to the group- they shrugged and one had the nerve to tell me maybe its a coincidence. Then my water heater stopped working...and my ac , both of them shut off. Went outside again, as they were cleaning and told them all my power is shutting down- and the group shrugged, the guy in charge saying " I have no clue what could cause that" and then I told them my meter is showing no power. Their reply" We have NO IDEA why that is happening. and they walked away- and one suggested calling DUKE ENERGY and seeing if they know what it is. And they left,- obviously not giving a care what was happening to me from something THEY did.

A follow up guy from another company was checking the scene after and I spoke to him- He INSTANTLY said they must have nicked the power line - called it a Partial power outage- saying anyone in the business would instantly know what happened and helped me go over the details and then I called Duke in and the DUKE guy was here, shook his head and said, Yes, one of the lines took damage and had to put a temp power line on my house. Now I have to wait 30 days to have it fully fixed, because of the terrible work POWERTOWN did .

Unprofessional, played dumb to go home on time, and left my home and a neighbors with a problem we did not have before. So, real story, and really bad workmanship.

These people do not care about your personal property. I understand they have a challenging job, but a little respect for one’s property while doing their job would be nice. They unnecessarily butchered our landscape that has taken decades to grow and left it to kill the grass that it’s laying on.

This company was contracted by Duke Energy to come out and repair/replace an underground power line. They never gave us the courtesy of letting us know they were interrupting our power for 2 hrs. They used foul language while working amd bossing there subordinates around and had no regard to how they treated our personal property. They damaged plants and landscaping trimmed trees incorrectly and didn't level the ground after digging.

Lost power due to Hurricane 🌀 Ian & this company was helping with the restoration effort... My electric was only out about 40 hrs, the distruption happened late.. These guys 🤩 rocked!!!! Our entire neighborhood was happy to see them!! They even diagnosed the issue for a different ticket & were able to contact Duke, requesting it's assignment, as those neighbors had lost electric over 12 hours before me.. Dan & his crew were THE Best!! They were knowledgeable, friendly, empathetic & extremely productive.. A MILLION Thank you's from the Sirmons Lake Park/ 40th St./ Disston Heights Neighborhood!!!

Never use their services but their office is two blocks from my house could you please do us a favor for the whole neighborhood and teach every single one of them how to drive? Because I don't think I've seen a single fleet vehicle belonging to your company yet that has been driving like they're not insane or trying to kill someone. Thanks very much
