I was hoping to minimize sound travel between my upstairs kitchen and finished basement living space. An insulation contractor came to my house, offered an onsite proposal, and once I agreed, they arranged to fill the floor joist cavity with blown in fiberglass insulation. Darrell and Joseph showed up promptly and efficiently completed the task, making minimal holes in my drywall ceiling. Both of them were friendly, professional, and speedy. Just when we needed it for the incoming chill, joseph and darrell from Compton Insulation Services showed up and meticulously laid down plastic sheets on the floors. Afterward, they sprayed insulation into the three parts of our cape-style attic and underneath the front foyer in Compton. They really put their backs into the work, using a ventilation system, tidied up everything, and reinstalled the siding that had been taken off to allow access beneath the foyer - it was a comprehensive job. joseph made his suggestions easy to understand, along with the insulation installation process - there were no unexpected surprises. The fresh insulation is maintaining the old house comfortably warm... and it's noticeably less draughty!
