Extremely Disappointing Experience

I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with Quest Diagnostics in Mansfield Center, CT. My appointments have been canceled two times without any explanation or proper communication. Each time, I had to rearrange my schedule, take time off, and wait only to have it abruptly canceled at the last minute. The lack of professionalism and respect for patients’ time is astounding.

If you value your time and need reliable service, look elsewhere. Quest Diagnostics clearly does not prioritize their patients. I will be seeking out another provider and do not recommend this location to anyone.

Perfect experience, clean, polite staff, & quick. If everyone who had a good or perfectly fine experience here reviewed it, this place would have 4.9 stars.
Came in for some check up blood work. Made an appointment online for 730, showed up, signed in, waited in the clean waiting room for a few minutes. Got called in, got my blood taken by the very friendly and professional staff.

I went in for a drug screen for an employer as a standby I expected to wait at least 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, someone comes out and tells me (rudely) they won't be able to take me today because they're short staffed and still need to take a lunch. Then I proceeded to explain that it's for an employer and I'm at the end of my window. They said oh just tell them you need an extension because of your conflict of schedule. It wasn't my schedule that interfered with me being able to get this during the first window. I don't understand why this location takes walk-ins if they can randomly just turn them away when they feel like it. I was told to come back today they do Drug screens until 2 o'clock. I checked in at 10:48 this morning and the kiosk told me they didn't have any more drug screens available. I was able to get in, but the staff was just as rude as yesterday. Barking at me to tell me how to proceed with things. I straight up told her she was rude. If I could give them less than one star, I would. I agree with the rest of the one star reviews - the staff here doesn't want to do their job! This is the worst Quest I have ever been to in 30 years of living in CT!! If you're scheduled to do drug screens until 2 PM, you shouldn't be turning away people at 12:30 so you can take a lunch! You should take your lunch after 2 PM. Your staffing issues are not my problem. Shame on you for putting this on the patient, two days in a row! On top of that I had to go back to my new employer and get an extension which almost set back my start date and was a huge hassle to get the extension beforehand this morning. If you have an option to go somewhere else, I highly suggest that.

Almost no wait...pleasant technician...good technique, painless blood draw...would recommend highly to all!

Had a scheduled appointment, as well as having to fast. Environment was completely chaotic with 7+ people signed up for the same time slot. Their computer system was “down” and they very rudely informed anyone without physical paperwork that they had to leave. An older gentleman who was handicapped walked in and was greeted with the same rude demeanor and was not assisted in any way. Walk-ins are impossible and even if you have an appointment you will have to wait 30+ min to be seen, even without their entire computer system being down. If you have the means to go somewhere else, I would recommend you do so.

Worst place I have ever been too for a blood draw. They were extremely rough and blood draw was painful. Finally they gave up after multiple attempts.

The text check-in procedure Quest uses is awesome. Very easy to use upon arriving there for your appointment.
