John and his team did a fantastic job with our apartment renovation. John was thoughtful and creative when approaching the design elements of our project.

Having lived thru other renovations I would note that his crew always cleaned up well, and it was clear they had experience working in people's homes.

I really enjoyed working with John on an upgrade/renovation of my 100 year old apartment. He and his team did a beautiful job, problem solving and responding to my requests. John came up with creative solutions to some challenges, like an ancient odd-sized kitchen sink that needed replacing. There were a few things they overlooked on our list, but they came back and took care of them all. They have integrity; and I would absolutely work with Redi again.

Ive known John and his work for years and I have always been very impressed. I’m a published photographer and was asked to take pictures in a residential space and a very fancy store on NYC’s West Village, both of which John did and you he quality of the work was impressive. Recently I needed extensive work and painting done in my apartment and am 100% satisfied with the work. I’m not considering more work done to my apartment and will be asking John again.

We hired John to renovate our brownstone.
He took money from us and never paid sub-contractors, causing us to have liens against our property, and resulting in us having to pay double to have the work finished.
Additionally, John's crew did very substandard work, sometimes resulting in dangerous conditions. We had to have the majority of the work that John's crew did redone by others.
Working with John was a complete nightmare, and he was extremely dishonest throughout.
I would not recommend getting involved with John under any circumstances.

Be warned. A simple two room renovation turned into a year long nightmare. Much of the work had to be redone and costs doubled. John just doesn’t know construction well. ( please note one of his positive reviews came from a family member). Our job is going into litigation now.
