I received my mammogram at the Women's Wellness Center in South Windsor. The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming. The technician was fantastic and explained everything she was doing. I have been going to the Women's Wellness Center for many, many years, for mammograms and bone density tests and have never had an issue. I highly recommend this facility.

I am presently going to the PT department for Vertigo and that's a process for some people like myself. Their office is quick, efficient and accommodating. I have been there many times and my experience is always very good. Waiting time is always just a few minutes. As far as their PT people they are excellent. A special thank you to Jamie as Im getting better 🙂

I had my first PT appointment this week with Michelle and she was fantastic. Everyone I encountered was fantastic honestly, from the security guard at the desk to the person checking me in at PT. Everyone was really nice and clearly liked their job, which I think is rare today. There was such a great atmosphere in the PT area, all the staff seemed to love their jobs and get along with each other really well. Michelle seems to be a wonderful physical therapist and I’m looking forward to working with her for the next few months. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking!

Today was so empowering and validating. I can’t express how important today was for my healing. If everyone medical appointment went like today, we would have a less traumatized chronic illness community. Finding a provider who isn’t intimidated by my terminology, who listens, takes notes, who is trauma informed, who gets excited for a challenge and has participated in additional trainings and took time to research my chronic illnesses was probably one of the most important things for me. Trying to work through the medical trauma and retrain my brain and heal is challenging, but providers like Alyssa Itzkowitz are changing the game! Maybe it’s the name, but really we need more Alyssa’s out there!
Today I feel like I got a piece of my power back, and that is worth so much more than I can express. My heart is full of gratitude tonight, and today a piece of me healed.

The facility I received my mammogram at was the Women's Wellness Center in South Windsor. I was greeted with a smile, in a timely fashion. Watched as receptionists actually came out and assured other women it would be okay. The technician who performed the procedure was very professional, caring, "gentle" and funny. I never knew I had "ruffles".

My therapist Ian is very knowledgeable in his job. He has helped me with breaking up scar tissue and we’re working on regaining my strength. Both my surgeon and I are pleased with the care I’ve been getting with Ian!
