I have had nothing but trouble with my beacon. Even if I don't use my phone while driving it says I'm on my phone. I'm not sure if it's because it plays music during my trips or what. But I left my phone at home to test it out and it still says I was on my phone and it was still recording a trip five minutes after being home. Pretty inaccurate way to calculate a discount.
