Shocked at the experience my black, male partner reported having after being there own his own, just a few days after he had come in with myself (white female) and our friend (white male). The three of us had a fantastic time and enjoyed ourselves the first time.

My partner, acting and speaking the same way each time, had a complaint reported to him by staff when he was there on his own, after being stared down from the opposite side of the street by passers-by.

Profiling and discrimination are never okay. A black male can in fact have a winery membership and not be bothering a single soul while being pleasant to everyone that walks by.

So disappointed.

This is a small wine tasting room in the heart of downtown La Mesa. (They have larger operations elsewhere.) This place is very warm and fun to visit. The ladies there are friendly and will help you choose wines based upon your taste. They also have live music at times, which is an added bonus. We love it here!

Excellent wine and super friendly people. The La Mesa tasting room is quant, the winery, where you can also taste is fun - you can't beat tastings from the barrel. The Seaport Village tasting room has great views.

If you love red wine a must go. They even have white wine i like. The habanero passionfruit is the best rose on the planet. Classy but sassy is a great spritzer. The only wine club I belong to.

Had a great tasting at this cute little place in downtown La Mesa. Friendly staff, and great selection. Will definitely come back!
