Our experience at Schaefer's felt Authentic.

It was a pleasant drive from Central Arkansas on a fall day.

We went two weekends before Halloween, and it was quite busy. They seemed to manage the crowd well.
We didn't have to wait, and every thing is spaced nicely.

I would suggest more trash cans placed around. Many people were not picking up after them selves.

They had the most stunning Crimson Sunflowers you can pick yourself this year! Always a great time here and it’s better every year! Best for kids under 10

We went on a Monday. There was no horse rides or ponies on site. Food was expensive and typical fair food. Playground area is suitable for small children only. No activities for older children. No precautions were made for the swarm of bees next to the food area. Only recommend for ages 2-6 for some outdoor fall play.

This is a great option to visit a pumpkin patch on a budget. When we went, there was no admission costs so our kids were able to play and enjoy all the fun outdoor slides and such without spending large amounts. We went on a Saturday so it was very busy with long lines, which is understandable. There is a fee for picking a pumpkin, riding the train, and the hay ride that are all priced great. Because of the long lines, we opted not to pick a pumpkin from the patch or ride the train. We appreciated that we could just let the kids play and not feel we overspent. We did pay for the hayride and it was one of the better hayrides we’ve taken in the area during the Fall. It was well worth the cost! There’s a lot of land surrounding the pumpkin patch and the hayride takes advantage of that.

We had a great time. Our youngest played for hours on all the cool farm style playground equipment, lots of great photo opportunities, petting zoo, sunflower patch, train rides, hay rides, pumpkin patch and cotton patch.

I've been to this pumpkin patch 3 times and it seems like they have expanded alot. Lots of areas for kids to play but it can also be enjoyed by adults without kids as well. They have food like burgers, hot dogs, and various other food to choose from as well as shaved ice. There's a large sunflower field that you can go to pick flowers yourself for one dollar each no matter the size or color of the flower. It's better and more convenient to bring cash or else there's a fee for using a card. You can take a hay ride to the field to pick a pumpkin yourself or you can buy ones that they picked already as well as some corn. There's also venders selling different things similar to what you would find at a farmers market. One of the venders I saw sells jams and pickled items in jars. I will definitely keep returning as I've had a fun and enjoyable time each time I've been here.
