I visited the Service Center three times in close successions for various needs (oil change, brake repair and recall item installation). The Service personnel were very courteous and helpful. The work was done promptly and professionally each time. I needed a ride back and pick up on the third visit which were arranged promptly. I will specially mention Jonathan and Daniel but others were good too. Only issue that I had was that the place did not return the calls in response to the voice mail messages that I left on two occasions.

I needed a new key fob, so I called them, and they told me to come in. I left my car there for the afternoon, only to be told later that they didn’t have any replacement fobs in stock (how they didn't know this upfront is absurd) and would have to order one. Once it arrived, they asked me to return. I waited for 90 minutes, only to be informed that their machine had been down all day and they couldn’t program the fob. They promised to call once it was fixed. After waiting a month with no follow-up, I went elsewhere.

Buyer beware, I took delivery of my vehicle (2018 Honda Accord sport) Monday December 30th 2024, keep in mind I live an hour away. I drove the vehicle home & the next day when I went to start the vehicle every light possible is illuminated on my dash. I called the dealer to tell them about the issue where I was connected to a sales manager that told me I will have to pay out of pocket for a tow again over an hour away on a car I owned less than 24 hours for them to look at, you would think this would be an issue that was resolved before putting the car back on the lot instead of just clearing the codes and hoping they stay off long enough to get out of the 60 day warranty. Manager told me if I had bought the service contract that they were trying to sell me they would have taken care of it. So basically, if I would have coughed up more money they would have taken care of me hilarious isn't it? I hope someone higher up sees this review and can do right by the customer. I should not be paying anything out of pocket for an issue on a vehicle I drove one time before the vehicle became a SAFETY issue, I have a small child I am not comfortable with putting in the car I just bought its ridiculous I am even writing this review right now. Sad to see how everyone's attitude changed from the day before when they were selling me the car & making they're commission to a day later when the deal is done.

WOMEN SHOPPING ALONE BEWARE! I never really leave reviews but I think buyers should absolutely be hesitant of Schaller. I understand they have been in business for 70 years and have multiple locations. But that really just shows to me they have a cash cow kind of mindset. Yesterday I went in and they tried to sell me a 2017 subaru forester with 100k miles. Price listed on car was for $14,000 but somehow once they ran the numbers it was 20,000 out the door, that is the price AFTER my down payment and trade in were calculated. The car key got locked in the ignition, the car would not turn off and it took the salesman 10 minutes to get it out. The coolant light was also on. He then tried to convince me that both issues were not a sign of any future problems. Before I left he tried to strong arm me into leaving a deposit, which of course I refused. After, I did some research and found a few cars locally in the same condition of said forester. Each listed for about $7,000-$10,000 less than what they were trying to sell the car to me for.

When I was in the dealership they had 0 interest in negotiations on price, and truly I think it was because I was a female shopping alone and they thought they could take advantage of me. So at least ladies shopping alone beware they are sharks.

I brought my 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid for recall service today. As usual, I was greeted by a friendly service person who made sure he understood why I brought my car in for service. I took advantage of their shuttle service to go home and they picked me up at the end of the day and brought me back to pick up my car. I’ve always had great service with Schaller Honda; great people and great service!

Dropped off my car for service yesterday and I was was pleasantly surprised with how smooth the whole process went down. Their online tool for communicating with the technician is great. It showed me a video of their inspection findings and was able to pay through that link as well. I do think it was a little overpriced but I guess that's what you get for premium service and premium parts.

Kaden at Schaller Honda in New Britain is both attentive and professional. He took the time to ensure I understood all my options and answered every question with honesty. I returned twice with additional questions, and they were more than willing to assist me each time. Kaden and Eli were incredibly knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. Schaller gonna in general has good customer service and employees who are transparent.
