Our tour guide here was fantastic!!!! My kids ask more questions than most and love history and how things work, and she handled them so well! The bowling machine was so cool and the house was stunning. The owner was so sweet. You need to stop here! The piano was one of my favorite parts!

An absolutely stunning part of American History that is a can’t miss if you are road tripping cross country. I had the privilege of interacting with pieces of history that are usually housed behind museum glass first hand.

A strikingly beautiful mansion. The guide is very knowledgeable about each part of the home and property. We were able to listen to an Edison cylinder on an old phonograph...which was so special. The guide also played the Steinway piano and the organ...which was very enjoyable. We also were able to bowl in their bowling alley...so cool!

A wonderful experience! 5 stars! Not only is this a stunningly beautiful house, it is not really a museum but is a tour of someone's actual house. The architect is the same one who designed the State Capitol and Frank Lloyd Wright had some input into interior design after the house was built. On top of that, this house was wired by Edison and featured some very new innovations of the St. Louis World's Fair at the turn of the century. This was well worth a visit.

One of the best tour of a historic mansion. It's a beautiful home with so many memories. Love the grand staircase. Terry the owner was very open with all the space and encouraged us to look in each room except the rooftop garden. We can't wait to return for their Christmas decorations.
