Great brewery with lots of choices on tap. Stopped by the day after they opened so while the selection was limited it was still plentiful. Had the hot chicken sandwich, which was highly recommended and while not that "hot" it was very fresh and filling.

Awesome service in a friendly atmosphere.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Seward, just a stone’s throw from the Alaska SeaLife Center, Seward Brewing Company combines a love for high-quality craft beer with an inventive culinary flair. Open seasonally from May to September, this two-story brewpub offers not just beer but a complete dining experience, all while soaking in views of Resurrection Bay and the charming streets of Seward.

We were drawn to their exceptional beer menu, with the standout favorite being White Fang, a delightful hefeweizen. This beer’s sweet, light banana and clove notes are perfectly balanced, making it a refreshing choice whether you’re basking in the summer sun or pairing it with one of their creative dishes. Speaking of pairings, it complemented my Send Noods cold noodle bowl—an addictive blend of chilled noodles, fresh veggies, and tender chicken.

Andrew, of course, went for the Hot Chicken, their twist on Nashville hot chicken, which came with just the right level of heat to keep things interesting. Locals rave about the That Pho’king Sando and Bao Down Asian tacos served in fluffy steamed buns, rounding out a menu that’s anything but ordinary.

Seward Brewing’s passion for crafting not only beers but also unique dishes is apparent. From the friendly, knowledgeable beertenders to the warm, inviting atmosphere, it’s no wonder this place is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re here for the brews, the bites, or the bay views, Seward Brewing Company delivers an unforgettable experience in the wild beauty of Alaska.

Stopped in for drinks after we had an 8.5 hour boat tour. We just had two drinks and service was amazing from guy bartender.. Bartender super friendly and helpful as i am not a beer drinker. Prices were amazing.

Seward Brewing Company has to be probably my second favorite restaurant in town. We got food from quite a few places in Seward when we were in town back in June 2022, but SBC is probably my second favorite out of all the ones we tried.

The overall vibe of the restaurant is gorgeous and modern. 2 floors of seating so they can accommodate a lot of people.

The service was super friendly! Our waitress was very attentive to us, gave great menu suggestions since we were new people to town, and had a great attitude!

As for the food, I got the Regular Rudy pizza and it was amazing! The crust is crispy and the toppings are crazy hot and fresh!

Overall, if you ever make it out to Seward in the summer time, hit up this place! Great food, service, and beer lists!

I’ll definitely come back here the next time I make it out to Alaska.

Service was great, seating for 9 was very quick. Food was good but not what we were expecting. I think the menu and pics we saw online were quite old. Will be attaching some updated photos with this review to help future guests. Added bonus being so close to the Sea Life center!

Amazing boa bun taco’s, absolutely delicious. The chicken was moist and tasty, not spicy at all, just seasoned. The El Perro Lager & TK-421 Imperial Milk Stout work definitely delicious. I would drink them again but definitely come back for the SBC Root Beer. Cozy decor with some interesting artwork, which we enjoyed. 5 Stars to this point.

Now for the removal of one star, which I hate to do, but…the server was friendly but not worth the 20% gratuity on the bill she did NOT inform us of. My wife hates this, uninformed and lack of communication. We live in a tourist town as well, so we know how it works. But come on, just mention it. Hence the removal of one star

I understand that Seward is a tourist town and that greatly increases the price of everything but you could at least put some lettuce on my burnt burger without charging me extra.. Wait staff was friendly but inattentive, took forever to even see our waiter the first time. Everything on the menu is extremely expensive, beer was good at least.

Awesome beers, we tried the flight of Rock Fish Red, Marathon Summer Ale, Tiny Bubbles, and the Milk Stout. Their full food menu is AWESOME!!!! We had the halibut tacos and the Crabby Mac & Cheese. If you arrive during the dinner rush, it’s completely worth the wait.
