Beautiful setting, delicious food, and excellent wines. Outdoor heaters and fire pits, and even blankets for cooler days. A little pricey, but a very knowledgeable staff. A perfect hidden oasis at the base of Mt. Diablo.

I've returned back to Shadowbrook a couple more times over the last few years and unfortunately may be my last. Their wine is not the best, I really wish it was the same as my first visit with the delicious zin but everything else I've had from my visits I wasn't a fan of.

Their food is what kept me going back. I know the chef has changed but still had high hopes. We recently had their truffle pasta for two which was incredibly overpriced for a small amount for two people, the pasta was over cooked and too soft but it was good flavor. A side of broccolini was equally overpriced but I enjoyed it charred and topped either dressing and cheese. After this expensive and unfulfilling meal, we had to go out to another restaurant and get a second dinner.

Location for east bay is ideal for a date night vs going out to Napa. Try to go around the full moon for views. It doesn’t feel like you’re in Walnut Creek! Quality of food was great, wine was enjoyable and service was good.

A beautiful winery tucked away in a beautiful resident area. The property is lovely, and the building would make a fantastic event venue. The staff was friendly, the wines were tasty, and the food was delicious. The only complaint is the plate sizes did not account for the small tables! #awkward

New tradition Burger and Beer Thursdays - the burger is delicious w handmade buns, we also tried the new Prevosto Red wine - really tasty

Recently held our daughter's bridal shower here. Have been a member so am very familiar with this awesome winery. Carlie was super helpful with planning & details and the event was perfect. Huge shout-out to John - our bartender, server and man of all trades who worked very diligently throughout our event. Guests enjoyed the wines, small plates, olive oil tasting & ambience.

Shadowbrook is one of Walnut Creek's hidden gems. The wine is delicious, the property is gorgeous, and service even better. Our server, Dean, was knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat and made wonderful food recommendations. We enjoyed sitting outside near the fire table and had the best time watching Chef create culinary magic in the outdoor kitchen. We will be back soon!

I was at Shadowbrook yesterday for an event and I can’t speak highly enough of their very accommodating and kind staff. They offered me a lot of flexibility in where to set up, they provided two heaters, and they also rearranged the event from outside to inside on minutes notice. This is a truly beautiful venue!
