We love Shell&Bee! Chelbi the owner is super sweet and really helped my daughter come out of her SHELL and feel comfortable. My daughter looks forward to her art lessons every week. We recommend you try them out!!

My kids have been taking art classes with Chelbi for the last 6 years. The lessons they’ve taken at Shell & Bee with Chelbi, as well as other artists, have enriched their lives and passion for art. Miss Abby has a heart of gold.

My family has loved participating in some of the awesome programs Shell and Bee had offered with the Deep River Public Library!

The studio is welcoming, features a variety of artistic mediums, and had lots to offer for people of all ages.

I enjoyed hearing about some of the summer camps offered, as well as learning about the artwork of some of the neighboring artists!

I love Shell & Bee Studio! Fun fact, the owner's name is Chelbi (pronounced Shelby), hence "shell" "bee" 😉 I've gone to a few adult watercolor classes which have been so lovely. I also take my kids to their Saturday morning Little Art classes and they are so much fun. Chelby is super nice and an ex-Montessori teacher so she's amazing with the kids. We also recently hosted my son's 4th birthday party at the studio and everyone had a blast! Highly recommend signing up for a class for you or your kids 🙂 Thanks Chelbi!!

We had my daughters’ 4th birthday at Shell and Bee today. Abby and Chelbi hosted our party of 12 sugar-high pre-schoolers and made the sweetest art project with the kids. Everyone had the best time. This was our family’s first go-around as far as a kids parties go and having it at the studio took all the stress out of it. Everyone left with the cutest gift bags of art supplies. I can’t wait to go back and take one of their classes- with or without the kids! How lucky are we to have such a special place in Deep River. 💕🎨

I am so proud of what Chelbi has built here. After being through art school I have never seen a company that dips their toes in ALL of the arts (clay, printmaking, clay, painting, claymation, photography, ect). It’s honestly remarkable what they provide to children of all ages. I also really admire how they treat their students. It’s such a great organized machine they have going that really works with their community and appreciates their staff!
